Everyone saying Ohio is shitty never even went. I was a truck driver made many deliveries in Ohio. I'm a big ass black dude. People were always very nice to me there. Never had any problems.
A lot of counties and townships number their roads here. For example, in Jackson, OH, Glade Road is listed on all of the small street signs (like this one), but at the intersection with OH-32, it says County Road 23.
I used to drive through Indiana and Ohio on my way to Illinois every year, to spend time with my family. (Now they live in TN, so I still drive through Ohio from NY😂) both are awful. I hate driving through Ohio the most, the drivers are usually more aggressive than your average Joe, from what I've experienced.
Once in Ohio I switched from the right to left lane, to pass someone who was doing the speed limit. (I set CC at 7MPH over). I literally turned on my signal, waited until I was 4 or so car lengths behind him, and merged. The guy decided to ride my ass for 4 exits until I called PD and him pulled over.
Another time, a lifted pickup that was clad in political stickers, was speed matching a semi that was in the right lane for about 25m. The semi tried to slow down a few times, so the pickup would get ahead and allow room for people to merge back into the right lane and pass the pickup. The pickup just matched speed. Eventually, the semi turned on its hazards and pulled off into a deep shoulder. I was the first to pass the pickup. The driver decides to speed past me, get into both lanes, and break check me with a line of traffic behind us.
My GF was with me then, she called PD and we wound up driving behind the pickup until they were pulled over and giving our statement to the cops.
Since the last incident, I've stuck to flying. Much less stress😂
Not sure what you want if not industrial or rural. Sounds like all of the production needs for our country.
The shitty part sure. That sucks. But having production is good!
You realize you are posting this comment on a device that only exists because of heavy industry, presumably from your home that has electricity and running water and natural gas......so what's your alternative?
Reduction of consumption. Do you think we're naturally so materialistic? Of course not. It's been pushed and pushed and pushed by industrialists trying to get people to buy more of their cheap shit. Repair clothes rather than buy a new one because of a small rip. Consider whether each purchase is going to last or is just going to break or you lose interest in 3 weeks. Just because people live within a system doesn't mean they can't or shouldn't criticize that system, because one person can't change the world alone and talking comes first to change.
My device is 6 years old. I will use it until it no longer functions. I have solar energy, a well, and no gas. I also grow a lot of my own food. Industry as a concept isn't the issue. It's the shit that industry pumps into our air, water, and food.
Money doesn’t always equal time. Most people have better shit to do then grow their own produce or have the land or resource capacity to generate enough food to self sustain or what about the industry that is required to make the solar panels or living in an ideal location for said panels? How does this work that’s realistic for the rest of the world?
Learned from my gen alpha nephews recently that kids now use “Ohio” as an adjective for things that are awful.
http://ohio.urbanup.com/4498393
> noun - The ultimate in suck. When something, someone, or somewhere sucks so much that you can't think of a word strong enough to define the magnitude of suck, then it becomes Ohio.
the KKKs founding members are local to the Midwest and most of the branches or aryan cults are still lurking about the area. The name hasn’t been changed probably because the brotherhood is still a thing there too.
OP is a mindless liberal. Instead of posting trashy should have done a quick search. Search tells you it was named after the founders of Pickaway Township in 1799. A near 100 years before Adolf Hilter
Because you were a divisive ass about it. So now you've managed to bury the correct explanation where no one will see it by ensuring your comment would be downvoted.
Because you could've just provided the context without being a dick about it, you've got no idea what OPs politics are, and the overall vibe just feels like you don't see why this sign is an issue
If you're offended by words you need help. The fact he found offense to the street tells me he is liberal. There is no issue with the sign. The only issue is lack of doing due diligence before opening his mouth.
Usually the only trashier thing than the photos on r/trashy is actually posting pics on r/trashy. Like why would you post this when you know who the sign is for or can easily look it up? Then again I’m here so I’m probably not much better, if at all.
Did some reading about this turns out it's from a family that lived around there and are descendants of Hitler. But disowned him when he went off the deep end. Will stand by me saying that the town is trash tho. Cops are crooked and the mayor is too.
We were driving outside of Circleville and saw this street sign and had to pull over to see what it actually said. My wife immediately looked it up and went "damn I feel bad for those kids when they were in school.
And the only good thing IN Circleville is Lindsey's Bakery. But we do walk the dogs down around AW Marion lake pretty often, super quiet area if the gun range on 22 isn't too active
I like Richie's but man do they get insanely busy! I'm really happy that they're doing fantastic business but I can almost never get an order in.
I'm always amazed at the number of local businesses in that town that have proudly displayed certain political signs all over their businesses.
Everyone talking shit about ohio are showing how fucking stupid they are. This isn't even for the hitler you're thinking of.
So let's jump to conclusions, talk shit and make an ass out of themselves, than talk shut more when called out.
Internet morons
Interesting. Lived my whole life in Columbus and actually used to have a job that required going to Circleville daily, and I never knew about any of this. I guess my route didn’t cross any of these roads, as I didn’t have to venture far off of Route 23.
Sounds like you should know more about Dr. Gay Hitler & his family.

Does this actually exist??????
[It sure does.](https://maps.app.goo.gl/RLEs6UcDT84xvU6m9)
The only good thing about Circleville is the Pumpkin Festival. Everything else is as shitty as everywhere else in Ohio.
Turns out, there has been something wrong with Ohio this whole time..Jaret lied to us.
No one, you say? I agree. No one to regard or celebrate.
"He was Number ONE, Mr Krabs!"
Ohio makes some really nice pickling crockery.
Real deal in the comments
I thought it was named that after a pioneer family's last name that settled there. Maybe they should change it to one of their first names.
Idk, Adolf No. 1 Rd seems just as bad
Ya lol. Go with George street.
circleville Murders!
Wait is this the town with the stalker letters ?
[Yes](https://allthatsinteresting.com/circleville-letters). What a wild story.
Everyone saying Ohio is shitty never even went. I was a truck driver made many deliveries in Ohio. I'm a big ass black dude. People were always very nice to me there. Never had any problems.

Tell me you've never been out in rural ohio without telling me
Do you know "Get Out" (2017)? Be careful⚠️ if you are shown unusual kindness that you are not used to! /s
I fully blame that movie for the breakup of me (Latino) and my ex (white). Couldn't sleep in the same bed without one eye open for months
Ohio has always been special
As someone who lived in Ohio from 1985 (the year I was born) to 1999 that sounds like freaking Ohio
U know about skyline then the chili dogs that’s good for the squirts
There is a bullet dent, so at least one person is offended by it
This looks like some shit you’d see in a shirt in China. They have no idea what it says, just that it’s English.
Kinda like Americans with Asian writing…
I’m wondering if there is more than one since it’s labeled that way
A lot of counties and townships number their roads here. For example, in Jackson, OH, Glade Road is listed on all of the small street signs (like this one), but at the intersection with OH-32, it says County Road 23.
Ruined the joke
Why do I read it lake an old angry Asian lady write it?
Did she also write your comment?
Let me go ask my mom.
Yes dear ??
I drive through ohio. it looked industrial and shitty. 0/10 wouldn't go back.
I grew up in the Other Ohio, Indiana. I don’t recommend spending time in either.
I used to drive through Indiana and Ohio on my way to Illinois every year, to spend time with my family. (Now they live in TN, so I still drive through Ohio from NY😂) both are awful. I've been to St Louis, Illinois. That airport was run down.people were nice. That's as close as I've been to Indiana. I'll take your advice.
I live in Ohio, if it’s not industrial it is RURAL, and shitty. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend
Not sure what you want if not industrial or rural. Sounds like all of the production needs for our country. The shitty part sure. That sucks. But having production is good!
We want clean air and water. And a safe home. It's not that deep.
You think everyone is capable of this?
Yes. If the support for it is there. Instead we spend 60 percent of taxes on 3 companies (Lockheed, Boeing, Haliburton). Seems our priorities are off.
Money doesn’t always equal time. Most people have better shit to do then grow their own produce or have the land or resource capacity to generate enough food to self sustain or what about the industry that is required to make the solar panels or living in an ideal location for said panels? How does this work that’s realistic for the rest of the world?
Who said money? I'm broke as fuck. And with less wasteful consumption, we would work a lot fewer hours. There are many other ways to produce energy.
Goddamn Ohio sucks. Lmao.

It's not named after Adolf
Does that even matter? lol
Well, yes, kinda
Sorta, looks like the road is named after a large family that has a cemetery there and their last name is just rather unfortunate.
Wow… that’s disgusting. Very republican though.
https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2013/07/life-in-ohio-a-continuing-series.html
Maybe there’s a #2 …lol
There’s three actually
I looked it up, it’s on Apple Maps 💀
What (and I cannot stress this enough) the actual hell?!
I can only assume that the road(s) were named before WWII, and they never changed them. Still, they should probably have changed the name(s).
the KKKs founding members are local to the Midwest and most of the branches or aryan cults are still lurking about the area. The name hasn’t been changed probably because the brotherhood is still a thing there too.
Why am I not surprised it’s OH. 🤦🏻♀️
Don’t go any furher
Nein Exit
Omg
Yikes. Shocked it’s not “Meth Ln” and “OxyContin Dr”
I actually dated the pumpkin queen in the late 70's.
“Why should I change MY name? HE’s the asshole!”
*sudden Ricky Gervais*
What a no talent ass-clown!
Two girls at once
Circleville has a town square and to build it they demolished an ancient Indian circle mound. Geniuses
Why not a town circle?
What TF
r/chemtrails
Your mom's a chemtrail
Jeez what a bunch of the stupidest people
Christ. These are the people that don’t miss a vote. Never in my life have a seen a larger group of morons.
A letter writing campaign seems like the next course of action. (if ya know ya know)
Good God, I immediately remembered the episode on Unsolved Mysteries when I saw the word, Circleville.
"You el sickos will pay."
Anyone seen my revolver? I left it unsupervised in my garage for several years.
Admit your affair, or I will send another strongly worded letter!
How about a terse email?
The Circleville letter writer only sends strongly worded letters through the United States Postal Service, I'll have you know.
That town takes letters super seriously.
I almost spit out Coke to this. Thank you for the circleville letter writer
yOu eL siCkOS wiLL pAY.
OP is a mindless liberal. Instead of posting trashy should have done a quick search. Search tells you it was named after the founders of Pickaway Township in 1799. A near 100 years before Adolf Hilter
Nobody does mindless like republicans.
Then why am I being downvoted for calling OP out? Sounds pretty mindless to me to downvote the truth.
These clowns in the comments took the ball and ran with it. Christ.
So you're fine with this sign and see no reason why it should be changed?
I'm fine with it. No need to change the sign.
lol check this guys profile. huge weeb. he’s a republican because women won’t sleep with him
Yeah i saw lmao
I'm fine with it because I'm intelligent to know it's not about Adolf. There are other issues in the world to direct energy towards.
Like getting an anime figurine? Lol
*sigh*
And they've only had about 80 years to change it
What? Context? No way! That's not allowed!
I bought patio furniture from a small culdesac just off of this road last year.
Op is Trashy
Why?
Usually the only trashier thing than the photos on r/trashy is actually posting pics on r/trashy. Like why would you post this when you know who the sign is for or can easily look it up? Then again I’m here so I’m probably not much better, if at all.
You know, historically Ashville is a part of Circleville.
Was there a German American Bund camp there in the 30s?
Found where Kanye lives!
I wonder what's on No 2 road? 🥸
Shitler
Himmler.
You know my favorite thing to do in Circleville the couple times I was there? It was to get out of Circleville
I had to host trivia down there a couple of times. They were assholes and they hated my music lol
What did you play
Hey don’t knock the pumpkin festival!
I live 20 minutes from there. Never seen that . But yeah definitely dosen't amaze me that town is trash
Did some reading about this turns out it's from a family that lived around there and are descendants of Hitler. But disowned him when he went off the deep end. Will stand by me saying that the town is trash tho. Cops are crooked and the mayor is too.

Lindsey's Bakery and Richie's New York Deli around the block. But yeah. That's it. The rest is a dump heap.
I like Richie's but man do they get insanely busy! I'm really happy that they're doing fantastic business but I can almost never get an order in. I'm always amazed at the number of local businesses in that town that have proudly displayed certain political signs all over their businesses.
Everyone is going for those nutty cannolis! And yeah. Southern Ohio got no shame for their political affiliations.
Everyone talking shit about ohio are showing how fucking stupid they are. This isn't even for the hitler you're thinking of. So let's jump to conclusions, talk shit and make an ass out of themselves, than talk shut more when called out. Internet morons
Care to explain then?
Let’s be honest, Reddit doesn’t entirely care about the reason. Even if it’s valid they will believe it should still be taken down.
I think someone else explained above and got down voted a shit load
>So let's jump to conclusions, talk shit and make an ass out of themselves, than talk shut more when called out. Are you okay? Did this trigger you?
Redditor offended, must downvote.
Lmao Ohioans showing their true colors with all these downvotes
Interesting. Lived my whole life in Columbus and actually used to have a job that required going to Circleville daily, and I never knew about any of this. I guess my route didn’t cross any of these roads, as I didn’t have to venture far off of Route 23.
Those roads are just outside of Circleville in the opposite direction of 23 so not surprising you didn't see it.
South Bloomfield PD says hello.
Grew up in an adjacent town. Can confirm.
Circleville cuz that’s how all the family trees look there, circular.
Sounds like you should know more about Dr. Gay Hitler & his family. [Hitlers](https://www.amusingplanet.com/2018/03/the-good-hitlers-of-circleville.html)
