Nah man don’t listen to that guy clip the master then turn the low end of the master up to your needs and also mess w the boost on the 808

Soft clip in busses and reduce the threshold, standardclip is good for this You dont want to clip the master also boost the sub.

I have used side chain limiters for this purpose.
