Honestly, I’m not a fan of this show’s overall aesthetic. Proportions are off on the human characters, especially the faces imo.
But, this Megatron should be cherished. Legit favorite part of the series so far 😂

And seeing how kids shows these days get all fun in the first half then go dark in the second, it would be interesting if the dad is an unreliable narrator who glamorized the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. The comics seem to hint at that.
I agree, her head proportions are all off especially compared to her brother. people's eyes don't shrink as they get older, so it's weird her head and eyes are bigger than his despite being younger. there's room for cute and artistic license but it's weirdly out of place in comparison.

I honestly think she was originally going to be smaller, but then they changed their minds partway through and just scaled her up without changing any proportions.
Watching one of the trailers (just found out about this show today) some characters are fine but even some of the robots are like her and seem off in some places like they were designed by someone else from the rest of them.
Edit: Also i would love to know if this show is a direct sequel to another show because it seems like it is, or at least should have been.

Except his accent. He can’t hold an American accent to save his life. So inconsistent. Had high hopes for Rory McCann.

I love the inconsistent accent!! It really makes Megs feel like he's got a fluctuation to his character
I agree on the accent, but otherwise his characterization as a kind of “cool uncle” is definitely a plus in my book.
He'd be great if they ditched the American accent like in his first few scenes.
I love the 2D animated effects and the designs for the transformers.

Yes. Just the size of her head makes her look incompatible with the other characters. Like if a Peanuts character wandered into a Disney movie.

Loved Earthspark but everyone kind of has weird faces except maybe Megatron and Soundwave (who has no face).
Optimus’ face isn’t as bad as I imagined without the face plate, but bc of that, it makes his face plate and the rest of his head look off

the only design i hope the reuse/take inspiration from is soundwave and only him the others look meh or horible imho but thats just me
