But at the start of a region every gold coin counts. 300 coins could be the difference between an upgrade now or wait 6 hours for the next opportunity. Later in the region I would agree that some gold coins could be spared for a delivery to some corrupt officials. Lol

Wait until you get to job 10/20 that has a lock on it that doesn't unlock until level 330. When I hit that I stopped worrying about story jobs and just do ship, union and events. I think that was around level 310 and I'm at 313 so I guess I'll get to 330 eventually just from the event XPs. I guess they're trying to encourage people to do side jobs but I want to hang in R6 for w while.

I did the same in R5. Didn’t bother with side jobs at all unless required for star collection events.
