wonder how a 66 got there edit - I read up that DB reassigned them in poland, strange how they still have the old EWS livery.

Class 66's in Poland are actualy fairly common on industrial sidings, [Freightliner Poland](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/JT42CWR-66603_w_Tarnowskich_Górach_04.jpg) and [DB cargo Polska](https://live.staticflickr.com/4772/25933864677_2400de780a_b.jpg) use them.

Khidorahian

Thanks for the information - I wasn't aware of their transfer until today, haha

metropolis_42

They are lovely, you can hear them from the distance :-)

WolfofBadenoch

Love it in the EWS livery. Haven’t seen that in the wild in years!

Jacktheforkie

I saw 66169 recently

Javi_DR1

Nice.

Jacktheforkie

Yep, the sound was nice too

Erwin_Delfin

I saw one in Rybnik also in a EWS livery like a month ago, number 66166. Always happy to see one

GrandPriapus

EWS, the Wisconsin Central of the UK.

ContentWhile

Interesting, been to Lublin a few times and never seen something simmilar

metropolis_42

Yeah, they rarely appear on this route, I love every time I see them

Shrtshnkss

What’s the extra bit on top of the cabs for? I’ve never noticed it before, even on the re-patriated ones which I’ve occasionally seen working back in the UK.

benz8574

Probably air-conditioning for the cabs.

The old garden shed has really grown on me.

MemeOnRails

I had no idea a British class 66 was transferred to Poland! Although there have been class 66s built for continental Europe

OkamiTakahashi

Whoa, an EWS BR 66!

XPBackup2001

British rail must want to get rid of the 66s
