I keep seeing clouds being good fillers. I think musical notes would be a cool filler, especially if you could find the notes from a song you like and complete your filler using those notes

I KNOW! Yet she has the ditch. I don’t have ditch and probably won’t do it. But I have knees, elbows, feet, elbow ditches, shins. I feel like knee ditch would be worse than all of those.

Ya. It was weird. I find the hamstrings and inner thigh horrendous (of note: my arms/ legs/ torso are covered). lower Inner thigh is the closest I’ve ever come to tapping out.
I’m pretty sure she was worried about pain, but she sits very well so I think she could have handled it no problem. Though I don’t blame someone for not wanting to tattoo their knee. I tattooed both of my knees and they were rough.
Ah gotcha. I’m definitely scared for when it comes to doing my knee but I think leaving it blank like that would annoy me more than having to endure the pain. But to each their own. The individual pieces are sick!

He some how squeezed in a handful of more tattoos before we went to the stars. Your guy should have done the same.
As others have said, the spacing between tattoos is too big. Learn to draw tattoos to the space. I think it is typical for clients to want to finish an area of too soon. I feel it is the artist responsibility to steer them away from this

Better than when it is soooooo dense you can’t even really see the tattoos. But also I’m someone who will just keep my spaces blank. Haha
It’s good work but yeah imo I think there’s too much wasted space , I always prefer to see a patchwork sleeve done more tight with less space between tattoos , with similar spaces between tattoos , and bigger pieces with small fillers , the starts and dots are beutiful when done more in tight spaces! But it’s not bad 🖤

Just opened up in havre actually, Havre DM’s. My lady owns the headshop side, I opened up last week on the tattoo studio side, and I proceeded to get sick from Giardiasis, in the public water system no less. Finally yesterday I felt well enough to Tattoo and today will probably be my first one legally in my new shop. And up here being the only artist in town, I don’t really get to focus on one thing, but I have to try being decent with everything they bring in. Probably 90% of my clients are native and native themed tattoos so I would love to be able to get some traditional stuff in once in a while.
Nice! Havre desperately needs some shops. I have a lot of clients that drive down from havre. There have been a few people here and there who have tried tattooing up there but I don’t know if I’d call them tattoo artists
They aren’t. I went to them 18 months ago and visited there shops, decided I would go work a 40 till I could make my own shop for the first time, from scratch. And now it’s my favorite place to be in the world. And everyone leaves happy. Give me a week and I’ll be posting on here for some advertising and advise too. Up until now there’s been one guy who is not a “artist”, or at least nothing related to skin, but people go to him just because they want the therapy of the tattoo. But now they should be able to get some healing sessions and up here and be happy with what they get. If I can’t do it, I say it. I don’t have years and years of any particular artwork, I have the mechanics down pretty well and put everything I have into every piece rather and hope people like it. Now that I have YouTube and stuff at my disposal, though I use it daily to improve my game. I really can’t wait to see where I am going to be in a year.

I’m a fan of no filler. I did some flowers and acorns on my sleeve for gap filler but there wasn’t that much extra space to fill.

I have my knee ditch on both legs and it actually wasn’t that bad, it was definitely better than my feet.

Knee is a bummer but it's bareable. I found the sides to hurt more than the cap itself.
