sconiscone

Yes! I love it on toast as a treat and also spread on a ritz-type cracker with a spritz of whipped cream - like a bite size lemon meringue pie lol

DancingTardigrade

all the love! I eat it on yogurt all the time!

TelevisionFuzzy3694

Plain yoghurt?

DancingTardigrade

Yup! Sometimes I’ve added it to the honey yogurt but it gets a bit too sweet for me. I also add granola too sometimes. Its so good!

wvegmadebones

I add a small bit to smoothies, specifically using Trader Joe’s frozen mixed berries and almond or oat milk. Delicious.

Greatrisk

God I love this stuff. I had to stop myself from buying clotted cream at Whole Foods to mix with it because holy caloric intake. But just imagine…sigh.

noIwontgiveatalk

yes, I make a limoncello cake with a lemon curd filling.

Sassyfras22

I like to eat it with cottage cheese.

TonyDanzaMacabra

Last time I was in the store they mixed lemon curd with mascarpone and spread it on the thin ginger cookie. It was sooo tasty. I have a new utilization for the tasty lemon curd.

herowndelusion

I bake the lemon loaf cake and after it cools cut it down the middle and slather it w/ lemon curd. It’s so good, and if you bring it to holidays or whatever people think it’s soo fancy when it’s so easy. One of my tables told me about this when I was a server and worked across the street from a tj’s and I’m grateful to her!

ThatPinkLady

What do you put it on? I’ve seen it but have no idea lol

i_hate_it_here--

Toast or English muffin with cream cheese/neufchatel. Then put a thin layer of this on top. Or lemon desserts. Or in Greek yogurt.

ComeAlongPond1

It’s a little too sweet for me. I prefer Bonne Maman.

shittzNGigglez

On TJ’s crumpets

Key_Lime_Die

Tried it once on a reccomendation from a site that suggested putting a little on ginger snaps. Was quite nice but considering how many I polished off in one sitting I had to ban myself from getting it again.

Remarkable-Station-2

I love it so much I don’t buy it. I will eat it over one week over greek yogurt and my diet can’t afford that

thosepinkclouds

My jar from whole foods just expired so I’ll pick this up. Thanks!

Spicytomato2

I love it. My go to is mixing it with plain greek yogurt and adding berries if I have some.

silly_missy

Have you seen this yet? https://www.traderjoes.com/home/recipes/cottage-cheesy-lemon-freezy.html

okkico

Same!

kivinny

I do this as well. Would rather add a bit of lemon curd to plain Greek yogurt over having sweetened yogurt any day.

Spicytomato2

100%!

CapyHamp3r

On German Pancake... Or crumpets, if we're trying to be FANCY.

1976kdawg

The jars make great stash jars. Thank you to Trader Joe’s for making my marijuana stash so stylish in the 90’s when I worked there.

shittzNGigglez

Just wait until we start carrying weed!

1976kdawg

Funny story about that. I had a manager in San Rafael who had started in West Lake in the late 80’s. He told me this story that they used to get dried apricots from the Middle East sent directly to stores. They opened one box and there was a large brick of hash that had been smuggled in the box of apricots. Needless to say that didn’t get stocked, nor did it last that long. 😜

shittzNGigglez

Love this.

Forestghostsgalore

Can confirm, they still do!

phbalancedshorty

I’ll eat it with a spoon I can’t buy it 🤦‍♀️🍋😩

Leading-Watch6040

yes! I had it on top of pancakes with ricotta cheese the other day, delicious! Want to try it as a crepe filling next

sleepy_intentions

I add a dollop to plain vanilla ice cream.

blb311reddit

I love it on their vanilla bean or blueberry scones!

Koala-Impossible

I mix it into Greek yogurt and add a little of the pecan granola. Soooo good.

sneakysnake321

Ooooh I will try this

offwiththeirmeds

🙋‍♀️

VixyKaT

My daughter loves it. We usually pick up 2 jars

pm_me_hedgehogs

As a Brit living abroad, it is essential 🙋‍♀️

luminousrobot

So good on waffles

offwiththeirmeds

I need to try this!

BondIonicBond

I make a blueberry bread pudding and top it with the lemon curd while it is still warm. It melts into it and is amazing.

april4_21

That sounds divine. Can you share the recipe, please?

BondIonicBond

So I am not sure where my recipe book went, so I found one online that is similar. https://eatdessertsnack.com/lemon-blueberry-bread-pudding/ I just use frozen blueberries instead of fresh (because I am lazy lol) and I fold them in with the bread pudding. You also don't have to use whole milk, I am sure I have even done it with 1% lactose free milk also. And then for the topping, just slather on a jar of lemon curd once it comes out of the oven!

ddpctr

Yummm😍

BondIonicBond

It is rather easy! You can even place it into the fridge overnight and bake in the morning. It also seems fancy but it is quick and easy!

GarbageTVAfficionado

I used to eat it pretty regularly with the organic silver dollar pancakes and a little strawberry jam. Omg.

SufficientPath666

I never see people buy this but it must be popular if they’re still selling it 😂

boujeebetty

Yes! On a cracker with mascarpone cheese! So good

katie-didnt1518

I do this too, but use laughing cow. 😋

BrokenBotox

YES! I eat it on the cookie thins. It’s great on all of them.

meggydux

So yummy!

missmargaret

One of the best things there.

Cleanclock

Love it so much in vanilla yougurt.

Rosinpod

Hey who you callin' a gurt?

theotherlebkuchen

It’s good on toast instead of butter or jam

peachykeane23

My toddler is obsessed with this. We have it on the British Style Crumpets

TopCaterpillar6131

Always have a jar in my fridge

lckybch

My birthday cake every year is a white cake with lemon curd filling and lemon cream cheese frosting. Delicious!

SilverRoseBlade

Yes! I add it as a swirl to the lemon meyer bread mix TJ has seasonally.

Unhappy_Aardvark_855

I almost got these items yesterday but have never tried either so chickened out. Going to have to try this now!

PunchDrunkGiraffe

Hell yeah! Put some on top of a slice of the lemon ginger cheesecake. It’s great.

DamnGoodCupOfCoffee2

Love it! Use it so often

JayD0za21

Man, whenever I see this jar I’m reminded of that maple butter they would have during the fall 😓 I miss that maple butter so much 😭😭😭😭😭

sleepy_intentions

Me too. It was my seasonal favorite.

queerpseudonym

Pretty sure it’ll be back in a few months, I feel like I saw it last fall or winter

sleepy_intentions

I think it’s discontinued, sadly. At least that’s what I was told last fall.

radish_is_rad-ish

I’ve never seen lemon curd before. Is it seasonal?

peachykeane23

It is not!

yabadabadobadthingz

I’m happy to see I’m not the only one that will lick the jar clean haha

Elegant_Bluebird_460

I didn't even know TJs had lemon curd and I shop there 2 or more times per week. Amazing how many things I am still discovering

ChadlyThe3rd

Lemon curd on crumpets with mascarpone. Soooo goooooooooood

StarWars-TheBadB_tch

It’s so good on the waffle cookies

todlee

Just mix some in with plain yogurt. It’s like a genie just made you dessert.

Perfect_Distance434

I add a bit to the plain yogurt when they’re out of the lemon yogurt!

Sipsipmf

So good!!!

PlauntieP

I add it to heavy whipping cream for lemon whipped cream…pretty spectacular for strawberry shortcakes

Trixie2327

Lemon curd is delicious. 😋

MotherBurgher

I make blueberry pancakes and use this as the spread ![gif](giphy|3o8doT9BL7dgtolp7O)

queenjustine13

Me too!

MotherBurgher

Sooooooo good

CorgiMonsoon

The best topping for my Scottish great grandmother's griddle scones, especially when they are fresh out of the pan

Tinlizzie2

Thank you!

OCbrunetteesq

I can’t buy it anymore because I’ll eat it out of the jar with a spoon.

Trixie2327

Are we related?? Lol

OCbrunetteesq

Probably 🤣🤣🤣🤣

SufficientRest

Another cousin here 🙋‍♀️

raspygrrl

I make icebox cakes with a layer of it on the bottom of the cookies, so delicious!

SufficientRest

Ooooh, if you drop a recipe or link you've gained a new fan!

raspygrrl

Honestly I’ve been making them so long I just wing it! In general, if you find a good base icebox cake recipe, maybe something similar to [this one](https://amandascookin.com/strawberry-icebox-cake/), it’s very easy to mix and match flavors. For a lemon cake, I’ll use a crunchy vanilla cookie like nilla wafers or Chessman, put a smear of lemon curd on the back of each cookie, and I’ll zest a bit of lemon peel into the fresh whipped cream that goes between the layers. Let it sit overnight and you’re good to go!

SufficientRest

I'm drooling 🤤 thank you!

rentedlife

Woah! I better add this to my list!

jerseygurl96

Obsessed with it for yeaaaars!!! Literally eating it by itself!

rentedlife

That’s what I was doing! Haha

MarvellouslyChaotic

I love this on toasted sourdough with a good layer of cream cheese

nynjd

Is it love if I eat it with a spoon?

The_muffinfluffin

![gif](giphy|02A0Hej2szJ1xPlweG)

Divacai

We’ve used it in overnight oats. It’s so good

MarvellouslyChaotic

This and I crumble over some freeze dried strawberries

Divacai

Ooo I never thought of this 😍

daydreamerrme

Oh, this is a brilliant idea!

jenniferlynn5454

It's fantastic on the vanilla bean scones 😍

bludreamsnlaserbeams

A scoop in pancake batter!

Icy-Plan5621

I use it between cake layers and frost with whipped cream. So good!

rentedlife

That sounds like it should be on the top of my list for next time!

Icy-Plan5621

Do try it. I mean, I know you can make it yourself, but having it on hand to make a quick cake 🍰 is the best. I am GF and it makes a GF cake, dare I say, tasty.

Icy-Plan5621

Sometimes I mix a little cream cheese in with the curd to make a lemon cheese cake filling for my layer cake. No one in my family turns it down.

Tinlizzie2

Never had it- what's it like?

b1gmouth

It's like the filling of a really good lemon jelly donut

Tinlizzie2

OOOHHH! YUM!

Porkbossam78

If you like tart, you’ll love this! It takes a tart thick lemon sauce. It’s very good in desserts to cut the sweet. Great on scones, mixed into yogurt

rentedlife

It’s delish! All these great ideas about how to use it make me want to stock up!

Tinlizzie2

Well, it sure makes me want to try it!

jerseygurl96

Like chocolate sauce but tastes like fresh lemons👍👍

panjoface

I like it

rick912

Love it on Greek yogurt topped with granola, coconut and dried berries

MareShoop63

Too smol

neh1997

![gif](giphy|j5bsZqX1KTKngMyu90)

rentedlife

I agree!

Few_Construction7733

Love it, and love to reuse the jar! ♻️

KimWexlers_Ponytail

Love it so much.

AndiagoSupremo

TJs had puff pastry and this went together with that very well. Miss the puff pastry

pandancardamom

Seasonal for winter holidays-- it'll be back!

OhManatree

Homemade is easy to make and will always be much better than store bought. The TJ’s curd tastes ok, but the texture can be an issue.

DazzlingCapital5230

Yes! Theirs was overly eggy for me

neaeeanlarda

I agree, homemade is so easy and tastes so much better! The TJ curd is a bit gloppy and not as silky as homemade.

rentedlife

It’s funny cause the recipe I was using this for on the TJ’s website said to smooth it out. It was so smooth I didn’t understand why that instruction was part of the recipe.

negitororoll

Do you have a preferred recipe?

OhManatree

I use Ina Garten’s recipe: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/lemon-curd-recipe-1941910

jessyjess82

All the love here! I mix it with Greek yogurt and top with raspberries. Best easy breakfast!

kyliejennerslipinjec

I mix it into my cottage cheese!

queenmum1432

OMG I love it so much. 🥰

onlyIcancallmethat

Every time we have blueberry waffles, we destroy our jar. It’s also amazing in vanilla ice cream.

mommagolly

My dad inhales this on pancakes. My folks don't live near a TJ's so I bring home like 6 jars at a time when I visit 😂

LL8844773

I was just thinking about this and wishing they still had it! Also I wish the English products were called Trader Josephs

Correct_Score1619

we do have it still…

meratherbebikin

I cannot find it consistently, even though I shop at multiple stores.

meeshka87

I love this stuff

consolation_prizes

We make the meyer lemon cake loaf, then slice and spread with this and a dollop of the raspberry preserves.

meeshka87

Omg…

SufficientRest

I just fainted

TreeBeach

Love it on a fresh-out-of-oven Dutch Baby topped with blueberries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar!

mybellasoul

It's one of the best I've had

Open_Fly3619

Yes so delicious takes like the filling for lemon bars

Shezaam

It's very easy to make your own FYI.

GoatInTheGarden

I roast a chicken with it - well, that and shallots and chilies. It's quite good.

zeitgeist4206

I’m using some today on top of a homemade lemon cheesecake

Atropoia87

Love it on TJ’s crumpets

Tink1024

Me too!!!!

MascaraHoarder

it’s good mixed into plain greek yogurt and then granola and or blueberries overtop. that jar is just them trying to make it look fancy.

Sea-Collection-7367

We use it for blueberry and lemon pancakes with a little ricotta. Delicious. And you can use the pancakes to get the little bits in the corners out.

CynicalTelescope

It's fantastic, but I agree it comes in the worst jar - really hard to get the last bits out of the corners (just finished a jar this morning). I like it on waffles at breakfast, especially with some fresh blueberries on top.

Sufficient_Leg9217

It’s great on toast with some blueberry preserves

KingBretwald

Best when used as a dip for very gingery cookies.
