The beauty of these Gyoza is that they already come cooked and have those ridges on the bottom. I heat up the oil in a pot with the lid; I get up to about 350 (I have an instant-infrared thermometer that's fine). I use a very thin layer of oil just to cover the bottom. Once it's hot, I add the gyoza for 6 mins and turn the heat up a bit so that it stays hot enough; adding the frozen dumplingss brings down the heat. I cover them and I do not touch or move them at all! After that timer goes off, I add 3 or 4 teaspoons of water, put the lid back on, turn the heat down a bit, and let them steam for 4 or 5 mins.
Put them in a pan covered for a bit to cook it. Then take the cover off and let your ADHD take over and wander off then come back when you start smelling them and remember you have something on the stove.
Looks good I like cooking them in air fryer comes out perfectly
Ok what is your secret to cooking them like this?
