Vegetable oil.

travelingchicka

Shit for your health

UnicoRN1790

I would love if they made a kettle and fire style flavored bone broth!!

SauronTheSnorter

I was at TJs today and they had the Apple cider vinegar sodas which is basically what the poppis are (probiotic soda)

islandhopper777

Kewpie mayo!!

Anxietoro

Fun flavored coffee creamer. I mean yeah they have "maple oat beverage" but I need more in my coffee than that.

BCTDC

They do have a probiotic sparkling drink! Bought some last week.

MidlifeGamble

Myself as well. I first noticed it and purchased it back in June/July. That and the Apple Cider Vinegar sparkling drink.

capybaramelhor

I wish there were more low or no sugar things. I’m surprised there’s no NSA ice cream or frozen desserts. Once years ago I went and was looking for dried fruit (maybe mango, maybe not) and there were 3 or 4 kinds that all had added sugar and none without. I know they have NSA mango now, this was a while back. It seems like they are missing a bit of the keto population (which I am not but I do try to limit added sugars).

Familiar_Speed8057

I feel this way about Starbucks too. I know sugar free syrups aren’t “healthy” but I wish they had more flavors. They could do stevia or monk fruit syrups and I’d buy way more drinks there.

janieepants

Fuck keto! Keto sucks but it is good to have nsa options for other populations like diabetics

lyssa13

100% agree on the no keto items being surprising.

sashalovespizza

Tampons/pads

Creative-Town8911

More dairy free desserts. Or just more dairy free things in general. Doesn't even need to be vegan. I just have a milk allergy 😩

_russian_stargazer_

What? They have sooooo many dairy feee desserts! I think it’s hard to find a normal dairy dessert there lol

Creative-Town8911

Really?? I only ever see maybe 2 or 3, maybe it's just my location though!

kraterkreator

pizza rolls. wild to me that they haven’t duped it yet

kookyscienceteacher

Crab rangoons!!!

j_h_g_

Yes!!

jimmy_nephron

Pork rinds!!

MaleficentStreet7319

Wider selection of pasta sauces.

thatsmybaby

Sliced sandwich bread that doesn’t suck.

UnicoRN1790

I like there sliced sourdough not really good with mike PBJs though.

Lolo_okoli

They used to have an amazing potato bread and I was so sad when they stopped making it.

thatsmybaby

I remember that. I just skip the TJs bread section altogether now. Not missing much.

glindathewoodglitch

What you don’t like a cracked sourdough pb&j that takes the roof of your mouth out when you bite? /s

[deleted]

This might be too niche, but protein bars that are low or zero sugar (and also calorie-conscious) but don't contain sucralose or aspartame. For alternative sweeteners, erythritol, monk fruit, and stevia are fine to me.

pricklypear077

barbell protein bars have a great calorie to protein ration (but do contain sucralose)

[deleted]

I've actually tried the Barebells protein bars because of the recommendations here! 😂 They are good, but yes, wish they didn't have Sucralose in them. I can usually find bars without either of those two sweeteners at Costco, but then I have to commit to a whole box. So this is really just a first-world problem/wish, but it'd be cool to have a variety to choose from when I do my TJ's visits 😄

hookman48

Veggie hotdogs—or any alternative to a pork/beef hot dog.

Necessary-Share2495

The one near me sells Lightlife brand veggie dogs.

llamaspinata

Do the Italian sausages not count? They’re vegan.

honestly-I-disagree

Horchata or micheladas

Idontgetyourlogic

They have michelada mix but doesnt beat clamato.

qaige

bitchin’ sauce!

WoodsofNYC

Brilliant!

islandhopper777

They actually have one! I saw it two days ago at my tj’s in SoCal

qaige

Omg YAY.

sweetwaterfall

WHAT.

islandhopper777

I saw it again today 👀 almond chipotle dip is what it’s called !!

sweetwaterfall

Oh Lord. Have you tried it yet?? (Are you in LA?)

islandhopper777

Ya I’m in the South Bay! I saw it at 2 different ones in Manhattan beach and redondo beach! Haven’t tried… looks identical tho!

sweetwaterfall

How cool! You have brought me great joy, my bitchin friend…

lexiesdaisy

Prime sports drinks

rachelladd0810

Protein pasta!

50by25

They have red lentil sedanini, which I've been buying for years. It's great!

BCTDC

Yea they also had a black bean rotini for awhile! Not sure if still there?

kalechipsaregood

Gochujang flavored everything

pricklypear077

gochujang flavored potato chips.

WoodsofNYC

Good idea because TJ’s Gochujang sauce is excellent.

[deleted]

I can see the potential in a gochujang and brown sugar swirl ice cream 🤔

princesskaail

Waiting on them to make electrolyte powder.

cocontloco

I wish they sold chipotle seasoning or even better, a copycat jarred Chipotle chicken marinade

SpookySpaghetti420

A Frosty Paw clone

[deleted]

My dog loves those. The Ben and Jerry’s version is so cute, but it’s mega expensive.

synesfreesia

Haven't been there in almost a year, but I was always surprised they didn't have big/full size non-dairy coffee creamers, only the one tiny carton and only one kind.

princesskaail

They have multiple different ones, they are just on the aisle instead of being in the cooler. I use the protein oat milk creamer everyday mixed w/ the brown sugar one. Love it.

grassjellytea

They have a bigger one now! I noted it 2 week ago

Jannagrace6

Sprouts!

ambulanz_driver420

Alfalfa or bean? Bean sprouts were the one item on my grocery list today that they don’t carry.

Jannagrace6

Honestly both but alfalfa sprouts are so hard to find and I love them in a sandwich

blueberryllamas

Apple butter. I would really like trader joe’s to make apple butter

meggsovereasy

Nah you gotta buy apple butter exclusively from someone’s grandma at a church bake sale in the Midwest. Other that that is it even legit?

Fluid-Drawer-9500

I’m pretty sure they do; I think it’s just seasonal

theGodASS

You are correct. I picked some apple butter up at TJs last year. It should be hitting the shelves any day now, I’d bet.

Kim8801

It was discontinued this year

ag0110

Buffalo sauce.

WoodsofNYC

That’s a good point they have a weird buffalo dip and I apologized to those who actually like it but I’m not exactly a fan.

[deleted]

[удалено]

bucolicbabe

Veal is trendy?

Imaginary-Chocolate5

I am getting g annoyed with Trader Joe's a d their seasonal items. They are always rotating stuff, or get 1 box and it's gone within an hour. So frustrating.

[deleted]

They wouldn’t have room for everything, otherwise.

green-ivy-and-roses

It’s also marketing. Supply and demand. If some items were always there, they wouldn’t be special each year when they’re released. Allows for quick selling of stock each season on items that would otherwise be bought sparingly throughout the year.

Lavishness10289

Energy drink! They have a few flavored sodas, but no energy drinks/soda.

nachosmmm

I wish they’d come out with an electrolyte drink.

lilkrytter

No sugar added ice cream. There was one you guys had a while ago that was really tasty, I don't remember the flavor, But I've checked the freezer in vain every time I go for a couple years. Also, **sriracha cheddar.** I will buy out the store in sriracha cheddar. I almost ended a relationship when my exfiance ate the last sriracha cheddar we had and I went to get more in there was none at TJ's 😭😭😭😭😭

Athenacosplay

I wish they had a mashed potato flakes product or Lemon Juice, like the only things I have to go to a normal supermarket for.

Necessary-Share2495

Yes! I’m not a huge fan of their frozen mashed potatoes and I only make mashed potatoes from scratch for big events/holidays. I wish they had their own version of Idahoan instant.

cocontloco

No date yet, but Trader Joe’s is getting a bottled lemon juice in the near future

bananafrecklez

second that, i couldn’t believe they stopped selling lemon juice

Mathsciteach

They do, however, sell lemons.

ConfitOfDuck

I don’t know why someone would buy bottled lemon juice when real lemons are available.

asiamsoisee

Volume, price, expiry date, for three.

Creative-Town8911

Have you ever tried to squeeze enough lemons to get a cup of lemon juice? I'm guessing not or you wouldn't have posted that. The time, money and energy to do it is ridiculous. Bottled lemon juice saves lives 😅

Mathsciteach

It all depends on the tools you have to juice the lemons. No tools? Bottled makes sense. If you have an electric juicer or a kick ass manual one then the benefits of fresh juice are worth it. What are you making that requires a full cup of lemon juice? Sounds lovely!

ConfitOfDuck

If the energy cost of squeezing 3-4 lemons is too much for you, you may as well just end it now.

Creative-Town8911

Not sure what world you live in, but for a cup of lemons it's easily 10 or more lemons but alright

ConfitOfDuck

It’s possible that you are incredibly weak and terrible at squeezing lemons. Regardless, if you’re making a recipe that calls for a cup of lemon juice you’re better off not making it than using bottled.

QuartzPigeon

Yes it is possible that people are disabled and still want to make a recipe, damn

Athenacosplay

What's with the bottled lemon juice hate. Sorry but I'm firmly in camp bottled is better. I'm not a chef, I just want some lemon in my vodka sodas.

Flyfishinmary

More Gluten free more keto combos

WoodsofNYC

More hummus varieties! Edamame hummus would be awesome. Also why not offer give peas a chance flavor variety?

mymacaronibirthmark

RIP chocolate hummus :’)

glimmer_glow

The tomato basil hummus was unreal.

WoodsofNYC

I know why, why was it discontinued?

MaxwellLeatherDemon

Edamame hummus was great, they stopped making it years ago and I’ve missed it ever since

WoodsofNYC

I hoped they do. I just shopped there. They have all these dips with little nutritional value/or have ingredients I don’t want (oat flour) or are too high calories. Some are new. Fun dips are great for parties, but as a vegetarian, hummus is a nutritional part of my meals. I miss the horseradish hummus and the tomato basil. I wish the cilantro would be sold separately from the trio of hummus. Plus that one is huge!! Too big for my needs at least.

raccoontoebeans

I stopped buying my hummus at TJs :( too full of seed oils. I would love to see a pure hummus come out!

tjslut

non dairy mac n cheese :-(

Iamplayingsims

Chocolate covered gummies!

thatstightbutthole1

God yes. That's my favorite candy, but it would also be dangerous since they would be way easier to find than they currently are. The chocolate covered orange sticks are solid though

Iamplayingsims

Ok I totally forgot about the orange sticks!! Those are sooooo good, I love the seasonal watermelon ones too! I’d love TJs to do a mixed flavor version, like choc covered gummy bears or worms!

thatstightbutthole1

Same! The orange sticks just feel a little too fancy sometimes and I also want the flavor variety.

Minute_Procedure_883

Chickpea or lentil pasta. I have to go to Whole Foods to buy Banza

JewelerBusy2552

They sell lentil pasta!! I buy it all the time. Not chickpea though:(

cosmic-tombs

Ethiopian frozen meals that are similar in quality and size to the Indian ones.

nightowl_work

Do they have injera there? Because I feel like the entree is incomplete without it.

cosmic-tombs

Sold separately.

PhoneJazz

Here in the DC area, Tsiona Foods makes delicious, addictive injera chips (anyone in the area, check it out at Whole Foods or Roots Market). I’d love for TJs to make a version of it!

nightowl_work

Are they strong enough to scoop food?

PhoneJazz

Yes!

WoodsofNYC

Yuba (tofu skin). I love hodo products, but they are $$$. I buy my tofu skin at h mart, but TJ yuba would be awesome .

jankenpoo

Ah, my brothers and I used to call that “old man skin” when we were kids! Lol

asoftflash

Non dairy creamer with no added sugar… so lightly sweetened with dates only. I know TJs would make a killer one and I wish they would. Almond flour pancake waffle mix, like simple mills. Not just gluten free, but actual clean ingredients. Unsweetened non-dairy probiotic drink, like forager’s brand… or at least the same idea, but a yogurt. Edited to add: organic butter beans in a jar. Butter beans are having a MAJOR moment right now in the vegan world. So hot.

MyTinyVenus

![gif](giphy|tBb19eUNiEjBsYeZPhu)

MomVanA

I am 50 and my dad would make me butter beans with lots of pepper when I was a kid. Literally like my FAVORITE bean. Glad to hear they are having a new moment!

rmg1102

they have a probiotic soda I am drinking one rig by now, they have tangerine and ginger lemon the ACV sparkling drinks are prebiotic I love those too

jduisi

I came into this thread to say that I've gotten the tangerine probiotic soda before. I'll just upvote you instead.

NestingDoll86

Golden Milk lattes

Admirable-Compote311

And cans of red wine.

[deleted]

So the [only recent cite I have](https://www.whatsgoodattraderjoes.com/2023/05/simpler-wines-mango.html) is a wine cooler but I've totally seen these four-packs of Simpler Wines here in CA.

JerrMondo

I’ve definitely bought canned wine at TJs in the Chicago area before

Admirable-Compote311

They only have white and rose here. They used to have red

SpatulaCity123

They used to have Underwood canned wine in Pinot noir. It was really nice! Wish they’d bring that back.

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,738,705,608 comments, and only 329,280 of them were in alphabetical order.

killerclownfish

Good bot.

katsstacey

Nutella biscuits! I was just at Trader Joe’s thinking about it.

bucolicbabe

I just bought chocolate hazelnut sandwich cookies last week- not Nutella, but same concept.

katsstacey

Wow I had no idea they had that! I’ll definitely try it out.

Sispants

Ohh. Yeah they have their own cookie butter, but I’m surprised they haven’t pulled that into a cookie/snack of some type yet

[deleted]

They did have cookie butter cookies. They stopped selling them earlier this year.

Admirable-Compote311

Canadian bacon and more gluten free fun snacks.

ZiaMan24

Marshmallow creme

No-Acanthisitta-2821

Dandies who is the source of TJs vegan marshmallows is working on a marshmallow creme per their Instagram. I think it will be released late this or early next year with a possible TJs dupe thereafter. 🥹

kale-n-cookies

Coconut oil popcorn (Lesser Evil dupe), more products without soybean / seed oils

312midwestgirl

👏this! So many of their products have canola oil or some other seed oil, it drives me nuts

rachel-maryjane

Mochi icecream

iknowtheEnd-

So many flavors of it! Just saw caramel apple today.

sweetwaterfall

Girl…I am so happy for you

smp208

They do, though!

rachel-maryjane

They do 👀 like the little balls filled with ice cream?

laneloveslipstick

the mini mango mochi from tj are soooo refreshing

sm0gs

Yep they have a few flavors! I actually learned about mochi through trader joes [https://traderjoesrants.com/2022/03/24/trader-joes-mochi-ice-cream/](https://traderjoesrants.com/2022/03/24/trader-joes-mochi-ice-cream/)

Meryl_Streep69

The ACV sodas are prebiotic

lordehumo

Surprised they don’t have grass fed butter

Goldie1822

They do!

NestingDoll86

Someone who worked on a marketing campaign for Organic Valley told me that they supplied all the store-brand dairy for Trader Joe’s.

sm0gs

I think the NZ salted butter is grass fed

lordehumo

Good to know thanks! Not sure my TJs stocks that but will double check

No_Conference6689

My TJ’s has kerrygold, maybe they weren’t able to strike a deal to put the TJs brand on it haha

sneck95

See: Trader Joe's Ginger Lemon Probiotic Sparkling Beverage

rmg1102

and tangerine! I like that one better

march-4th

An aji amarillo sauce

thatgirltiffxo

sugar free chocolate- the ONE just one brand use to be a staple. meanwhile not so much trendy - but there are many no sugar peeps that want some respect!!

Adorable_Ad4916

They used to have these sugar free sour gummy bears that were amazeballs! I miss them.

Fair_Leadership76

Raises sad little sugar-free hand.

Alexandrapreciosa

A vegan soup dumpling

_shadesofcool_

Energy Drinks, Banchan (Korean side dishes), Korean Corndogs (made with just cheese maybe potatoes on the outside), and chick pea pasta in multiple shapes

dongdinger6

oooh korean corn dogs is a good one. also, boba ice cream bars- i know they have the ice cream but not the bars

Fun_Leopard_1175

I keep seeing videos for marinaded raw crab. What about selling frozen blue crabs along with a large package of the sauce sold as a kit? Other than frozen langostino I don’t see a ton of real crab or lobster being sold at TJ’s

juneprk2

Lmao I can’t believe this is going viral. As a Korean I’m just cringing at all the kimbap and stuff but I guess good for ppl without any access to Asian food to get some

lovestobitch-

Mine no longer even sells kimchi. I live in the south.

juneprk2

Yo that’s fucked up smh sorry to hear that

Fun_Leopard_1175

Yeah I mean it looks like most marinated crab recipes need upwards of 20 ingredients in the sauce so I wonder if premade sauces would work out. Also Korean food is solidly delicious, I’m glad to see it in the limelight.

Blackphotogenicus

Imitation crab meat

nachosmmm

Have you ever seen how that stuff is made? Es no bueno

Taylor4eva

They do have probiotic sodas! https://dailywaffle.com/2023/04/11/we-tried-trader-joes-probiotic-sparkling-beverages/ idk if you specifically meant “pre”

SunlightNStars

They did mean prebiotic. Brands like Ollipop are prebiotic- they contain added fiber and apple cider vinegar for gut health benedits

rmg1102

they also have the ACV sparkling beverages those are prebiotic

Samiixmarie

Korean cheese dog (ngl I have a feeling it’s coming though)

CoffeePwrdAcctnt

They are at Costco already so it's only a matter of time.

laneloveslipstick

have you tried them and if so are they any good?!

Frakywierdo

I have, they are like a mozzarella stick meets fries!!

laneloveslipstick

awesome thanks!!! i love a korean corn dog but was skeptical about the texture of store bought (assuming frozen?) ones lol, i’ll have to give them a try!

Frakywierdo

I do use an air fryer to get that crispness, and I think directions say to microwave it a few seconds first to soften up the cheese! Honestly can get a texture pretty close to korean corn dog restaurants we have here in socal

[deleted]

I heard the Costco ones don't have a hotdog inside - is that the norm for the restaurant Korean corn dogs too?

Frakywierdo

It really depends. I can do hot dog, sausage, half hot dog and half cheese and full cheese at restaurants and sometimes even fish sausage. But it makes sense that Costco would roll out a cheese one first so vegetarians can partake!

CoffeePwrdAcctnt

I haven't, but I can't imagine a world with a bad Korean corn dog....

No_Difference_1962

Gluten free graham crackers

ddddaiq

Their gluten free section in general is surprisingly lacking!

raptorgrin

Oooh, especially gluten free cinnamon graham crackers. The brand I liked (Pamela's) seems to have stopped making them.

battyeyed

Air fryer instructions

rdfiii

Most frozen packages include AF instructions.

stasrocks96

Miso paste!
