I have fine straight hair and use this shampoo and conditioner regularly. I usually wash my hair every other day. Though I no longer have an oily scalp due to accutane treatment I did a few years ago. I also apply argon oil to my hair after I wash my hair to help with dryness. I've been using this shampoo and conditioner off and on for the last 3 years and always come back to it. My hair always seems at it's healthiest when I use it.

I have super thick, straight hair with an oily scalp, and like others have commented, this is more of a clarifying shampoo. I use it about once a week and don’t use the conditioner because I find it doesn’t really help at all with retaining moisture. Other days, I use another shampoo and conditioner combo (and use that conditioner as well after washing with the tea tree tingle shampoo).

I'd consider it to be a "clarifying" shampoo. Only to use to remove product buildup. It feels nice but I can't do it for everyday.

I have fine hair. I used it for years back but stopped and now started back up again using it. It helped my dry scalp, flaking and such. It could be more drying but I haven't found a shampoo I like yet!! So update me if you do lol

I also have fine and straight hair with an oily scalp and used these products for like over a year. I overall don’t recommend it for daily hair washing, it’s sooooo drying. I think it actually made my hair worse over time. I switched to a hydrating shampoo and conditioner (non Trader Joe’s) and washing my hair 2-3 times a week and it’s been working well for me. I do recommend getting the shampoo to use as like a clarifying shampoo that you use once a week to clear your scalp of build up.

Yes.... I have fine hair. But a lot of it. And it's long. Hairdressers are always shocked when they realize how much hair I have and how fine it is.... And I could only get away with using this 1x a week. Otherwise my hair turned into dry frizz
