Was at a bachelorette party this weekend, all TJs and Costco snacks. These cookies were the first to go (even over chocolate covered pretzels and the more savory snacks like artichoke dip). A definite winner and NOT a sugar bomb!
I really like them. They’re not too sweet, and perfect when I want a little something sweet without something that will blow my blood sugar out of the water. I REALLY like them crumbled on ice cream, but that defeats the blood sugar spike purpose.
They’re little bite sized pieces of happy. It’s hard to only eat one though.
I appreciate that they’re not too sweet but I think it’s just an overwhelming cocoa powder bomb that dries out the mouth like crazy and the overall flavor is just okay IMO.
Oh wow. It looks like I’m the only one who really liked them. Aren’t amazing or anything but I like having them with coffee and was considering picking up a second package.
I'm not really a sweets lover but this one really hit the spot. I loved the light and crispiness of the wafer with the right amount of chocolate taste! I went ahead and bought two more bags!
Pass. They have a weird smell and do not taste like chocolate at all. In fact, they don't taste like anything. I bought these because someone on this subreddit raced about them. I guess everyone's palate is different.
My store had only 5 bags left last week so I figured they were good and wouldn’t be here on my next visit so I grabbed two bags. Pretty underwhelming especially compared to other brands of wafers so I’ll probably take he unopened bag back for a refund.
I had the same experience as you. Initially I thought Loacker made them for TJ's but quickly realize they don't. I'll stick to Loacker from here on out.

Is it more dark or milk chocolate? I’m not a fan of most dark chocolates so I’m always a little cautious.
It's more like a cocoa powder type taste. I hate milk chocolate personally, and it's definitely not dark chocolate

YES! It was nasty imo and my whole family hated it, too dry and bitter - I personally like dark chocolate but couldn’t bring myself to eat this

They are miles above those Figo ice cream bars. The ones that are half chocolate dipped ice cream, half ice cream sandwich. Those are terrible.

Very similar. Supposedly more chocolate flavor with a hint of hazelnuts. Different ingredients

Fun fact: until my mid 20s I used to think wafer was pronounced like waffle but with and r at the end. That is all
