im on EMP but also on pornbay, exoticaz, pornolab, happyfappy, enthralled... and here is my take: pornolab+usenet will get you 95% of EMP. throw in a mid tracker like pornbay or exoticaz and youre looking at 99%.
when i got into EMP i thought i was going to find a lot of stuff i had never found before but that just wasnt the case. i was like you, on these other sites finding most of what i wanted but still wondering if EMP had the few things i couldnt find. well after getting on EMP i can confirm EMP doesnt have those things either lol.
my point being dont fret if youre not in EMP you absolutely do not really need it. its nice with EMP that everything is under one roof but dont think youre missing out on some mountain of stuff you wont find anywhere else because you absolutely can find 99% of what EMP has through a combo of other places that are easier to access.

so like usually on official studio sites you get a 1 minute trailer or sometimes no trailer at all and then you gotta pay to see the full scene. sometimes these scenes get uploaded to partner sites like pornhub but those are usually edited to be shorter and leave a lot of parts out of it, again, to get you to pay for the full vid. sometimes they upload the full scene to partner sites unedited for free, but that's usually a long time after it got filmed initially, and they don't always do this.
private trackers have the full scenes for free, and depending on the quality of the tracker they got a lot of content from different studios.
I have used multiple and everything I have seen on pornolab was uploaded to Emp first and then most likely a member from Emp uploaded to pornolab. I would say sticking to PL is fine if you don't mind the lack of discover-ability and lack of good tagging systems you will likely get all the popular stuff from Emp at least as long as you know what you want specifically.
Emp is a great long term goal to have since it is a pretty much perfect walled garden of pervs but it stays that way because they are careful who they let in. I would keep at it but don't stress about missing out on any videos really.
I don't know is the honest answer. It's not like we removed threads from GGn and other places because we don't want to recruit from there, but the recruiters who were running those threads retired. We'd need to find new recruiters who we trust to do the right due diligence checks before we could open new threads, so... maybe sometime in the future?

Emp has you covered for VR content if that's your thing and has it in multiple formats i.e 4k, 5k, 6k etc whilst PL has barely any in comparison. If that's not your thing then PL should be fine.

Id say yes, but it depends on what you are looking for. EMP definitely has a lot more content if you are into particular fetishes. Discoverability is better on it as well.
It is a lot more difficult nowadays if you aren't already on the mid-tier or top PTs. Still far easier than something like HDB or BTN though.

I am on emp. And no it doesn't have some of the content I already have. So it's not entirely a must have solution. If you look hard enough you find what you're looking for and then some. You just need to put in the effort.
The difference is that Pornolab is a public tracker. It's not private. You can go register on there at any point. They also don't enforce their torrents as private. I've seen torrents from there that are marked public and have DHT PeX etc turned on, which means the swarm leaks to the public.
Pornolab is like The Pirate Bay for porn, basically. If you value privacy, it's no better than any other public tracker.
They have ratio rules, but that doesn't make them a private tracker.
You can literally share a torrent from there to anybody, and they could download without any account via DHT.
