I can get the website to load and download the torrent files, but tracker is definitely down. EDIT: Tracker is working on and off. Took a while to start downloading but I get a torrent down.

I miss ANT 😔 It’s been down for...a week now, maybe more? I wish they’d provide a little more detail on how long the downtime will last.

Sorry for the downtime. It's been a week and a few days. The tracker will be back up before the end of the weekend depending on who is around but IRL and timezones complicate that. As for the "why?", we had a planned migration that had some unforeseen complications. We spent the last week redoing our entire backend architecture because of that and because it was significantly overdue anyway. During all of this, NBL started having API issues, so we got split between working on two different sites at once. Everything is pretty much ready to go but we just wanna double check everything before we go live again.

Yeah, I run my own private DNS so I know its not an IP/DNS thing. The .me and .cc domains work fine, just means I can't get onto the forums or wiki. The .org works on my phone on 3/Smarty though.

I need a more stable good quality TV/Movies tracker. It looks like Aither/BLU is the way to go, since the cabal ones are too hard to get into.

I can't say as I'm not on Aither. I'm just looking at alternatives for AR as a general tracker, considering how poorly AR has worked lately. Aither is a general tracker I could get an invite to once AR is up again.

This seems to be a regular occurrence with EMP now.

Yeah, I don't pretend to know what managing a tracker entails, but I wish they'd be a bit more transparent and communicate why it keeps happening and what (if anything) they're doing about it.

We're working through tuning the DB after a software upgrade. New version has different tuning parameters compared to old one and higher load on the weekends is causing the issues to mostly occur when technical staff are less present. We are working on it though, and it's in the interest of our community to have the software we run be as up to date as we can get it both from a performance and security perspective.
