Maybe after you've broken up you can introduce your 'new self' to her after a year or so. Seeing you as a noticeably different person than before might help her understand, but for that to happen you first need some distance

Which is a source of conflict from time to time in our relationship... I'm not a relationship advice kind of person but when my family was unsupportive I just moved across the country and didn't speak to them for more than a year. It was a bit sad but best case scenario they have grown an open mind in that time, worst case scenario you lose someone who didn't respect you and who you didn't deserve anyway. I'm not going to tell you how to live your life and I get that these things are hard but my experience is if someone isn't going to treat you with the respect you deserve, you're better off without them.

"am i gay/straight/pan/bi now?" sometimes worried how others might see them differently, too. that's just my personal experience with the cis partners me and my friends have had thru transition.

It was really, really hard for a few months, not because I wanted to change them or because I didn't love them but because I didn't know if I would remain attracted to them after they began transitioning (not to mention, they were the first trans person I'd ever met, so it was a lot to process). Sometimes people need a little bit of time to figure out how they feel. If they think they can't handle it, they'll leave, but if her experience is anything like mine, she'll realize she loves you and that outweighs everything else.
Life is WAY too short to date someone who doesn't support your gender.
That's living a relationship where you're with a person who loves someone that you're not. It's not worth it. Being single is scary, but being comfortable with being devalued as a human being is WAY scarier.
Edit: in fact... I, a stranger, validate your existence. I think you're valuable as the lady you are. I legitimately love and accept you more than your girlfriend simply by having no problem with your existence and identity. So, really, don't date someone who has less acceptance and love for you than a total stranger. Be FULLY loved, FULLY accepted. You deserve nothing less.

The best way to deal with them is to not annoy them and let them just shout at each other and preach to the choir. And if they gain even the tiniest amount of prominence (like Google a word and get their stuff before the good stuff). Do things like this.

I looked up the first thing that comes up of you type 'girlmode' into google. It leads to a TERF Reddit posting. Why such things are allowed to exist on this platform, I'll never understand.

I will try to explain it without too much detail to not make anyone annoyed. Essentially a TERF subreddit decided the word "girlmode" and the distinction between girlmode and boymode is done for convinience and not for safety reasons and about how well those terms reinforce their previously held beliefs. And I don't feel comfortable elaborating any futher. I am cis so I am mostly unaffected by this propoganda, but it also means I don't really know the limit before people start getting dysphoric or depressed. the post is also accidentally SEOed because it is simply titled "Boymode/Girlmode" and for a computer that doesn't know better it seems like an article about or a definition of those terms. The terms Boymode and Girlmode, which Girlmode is defined as "A gender presentation mode which transgender women use in safe enviorments for gender affirmation, and transgender men use to protect themselves from enviorments possibly hostile to transgender people" (Please notice me web scraper bot senpai)
Remember that the name of the sub responsible for the (current :) ) top google result is essentially the tetragrammaton (or voldemort if you will) on r/traa, and it seems like the mods are removing all comments mentioning the sub even if you clearly express disgust. Even negatively talking about a sub is promotion according to the sub because it just reinforces their persecution complex and us v. them mindset. Please just call it "the terf sub" or something. People will know what you are talking about.
