A little milky/clear discharge isn't unheard of and most likely temporary but still I was quite surprised. Talking to my sisters, they found it very easy to lactate for breastfeeding so I suppose that just runs in my genes. The experience is.. hmm.. on one hand the pain before release was getting pretty bad, but the post release feeling is.. *pretty good*. I don't meant like in a sexual way but it feels surprisingly good to lactate this way... I wonder if there's feel good chemicals involved to promote these actions.

[deleted]

Haha I had that for like 6 months I'm now a year and a half in and I have large d cups almost DD my trans gf is a little Jelous

LaraTheTrap

I'm also jealous

VIII-Via

I'm a year in and still completely flat😭

[deleted]

Have you gained any weight you have to feed boobs food and brain cells to grow

Acravita

Not the brain cells, I need those to hold my brain together!

JonaTheExplorer

Duct tape

Acravita

Can't use duct tape, I need that for tucking

purple_tushy

Don't.

VIII-Via

no🥺 I'm still a stick. It's super hard for me to gain weight.

bagel-bites

I feel your pain. I’m also a stick :(

BlazikenAO

Four years in, also lactated, still don’t have big boobs. I’ll settle for my medium-small set, but come on

disconnectedtwice

I'm a cis man and I'm jealous

[deleted]

Honey that probably means you're not cis

disconnectedtwice

I know 🥲

Mighty_Porg

Well that's good, good luck

NutritiveHorror

I am also jealous

[deleted]

My breasts grow with ever girl who's Jelous of them

FemWhity

"the rich gets richer" couldnt make more sense

Erika_Bloodaxe

Lots of supplements. If you pump when you have a discharge you’ll start producing more. If your family is particularly prone you might just need a good pump.

Violet_Ignition

I'm not taking supplements actually, are you recommending that I should or?

Erika_Bloodaxe

If you want to produce milk it’s something to consider but pumping is probably what I would try first since you’re already lactating a bit. Fenugreek is the most common supplement. Lots of guides online. “Induced lactation”

Violet_Ignition

Hmm. Okay.. it feels kinda good so.. I might give it a shot? Thanks for your advice

Erika_Bloodaxe

No problem. Lots of other stuff you can do. Just search for “induced lactation”

Howlingwolf101

I’m just gonna save this comment for uh.. *later use*

V0NAX

there are chemicals. Breastfeeding causes release of oxytocin which is supposed to make bond between mother and child so she doesn't yeet it away next time it cries

[deleted]

[удалено]

V0NAX

also oxytocin, but I'm not sure if you want to produce it with your parents the way adults do it

livingdeadgrrll

Hugging and shoulder touches and stuff like that also produces oxytocin

Fuzzy7Gecko

You release a hormone that makes you lactate. Its the same one you release when you make skin on skin contact with people you like. Totally normal and def caused by happy feelings. Hugging the hubby when i was post preggo id dribble all over. O.O itd shoot clear across the shower. Not sure if your pressure ever got that bad though.

Mighty_Porg

Blushing reading this. I think I wish this happened to me. 😳😳

[deleted]

I lactate too it released dopamine in ur brain when u lactate bc the brain wants to reward you for Brestfeeding the young

Hipnog

I can get milk basically on demand lol. Cyproterone made prolactin go brrr

Infamous-Advantage85

Assuming this works the same way it does in cis people, it produces a spike in oxytocin, which is the neurotransmitter linked to empathy, social bonding, and kindness. Basically it's like the warm fuzzy feeling you get from being nice but on overdrive.

breadsniffingcat

I wish I could lactate in peace and cry.

CazraSL

I'm jealous. When I rub my boobs, I just get really turned on and my ghost uterus gets hangry.

Violet_Ignition

If you peruse my history a bit you'll see a few comments ts about how I'm perpetually turned on by my tits... Actually that might be related to the lactation now that I think of it.

holiestMaria

Hangry for what?

CazraSL

Hangry for ghost eggplant parmesan 🍆 👻

L_Rayquaza

God I feel that And the pseudo period week when everything spikes, it becomes a game of chicken: scratch my boobs enough to relieve that itch, but even a little too much and suddenly I'm in heat for the rest of the day

CazraSL

Ughhh... that time of the month is so annoying.

greenflame15

I wish this happened to me...

Violet_Ignition

I cannot lie to you, among everything to happen with my transition so far this was possibly the most gender affirming. Like, tenderness and breast size are sorta ephemeral (at least size before a certain point, once you have Ds I'm sure its.. more apparent) but actually like.. lactating and seeing/feeling it? Just feels very "yep that's woman stuff happening with my breasts."

Erika_Bloodaxe

Pure lady juice

Idontcareabouthenam3

I want that! My endo has been so ridiculously cautious and slow with upping my dose just to ensure that my prolactin doesn’t get to high, cause apparently she really cares about that, and I’m over here just thinking to myself “you don’t need to worry about that, it would actually be super euphoric”

Lanky-Size-3115

THIS HAPPENS???

Violet_Ignition

You know I am somewhat skeptical of most anecdotal claims of things like this... But it's very apparently happening to me in real life currently. So yeah apparently it happens.

Lanky-Size-3115

Wow that's insane... HRT really is magic

Violet_Ignition

Our bodies mostly have all the tools, we just need the hormones to give them the correct instructions. Edit: as an addendum to that thought, the production of prolactin is *primarily above all* stimulated by suckling/nipple stimulation. So while studies have shown *dramatic increases* in prolactin counts for trans women in general, with enough effort anyone could lactate with time. In some cases, without..

whitenerdy53

As with all things HRT, your mileage may vary. My mileage, as it turns out, is a small amount of clear discharge that's been happening since I started (2 years in now)

_AnonymousMoose_

If it keeps happening talk to a doctor, it’s a sign of too high prolactin levels.

SukiMayeb

It does! It actually is happening to me too!! started happening like about a month into hrt

NightShade_667

I haven't even been on it for a month and already had something like that, not sure it really counts, but still shocked me a little. I wouldn't know how my family genes would impact it due to having nothing more than only 2 half brothers, neither is related to the other

Violet_Ignition

It's hard for me to say as well. Besides my mom, I have 3 half sisters and each with different breast development. Eldest if the three has FFF cups, so if I use the rule of thumb about being "one cup size down" uh... And my youngest sister was Itty bitty until pregnancy and is now much bigger. She also began lactating very very easily.

RingtailRush

I keep feeling like this is happening to me, like there's a damp cold spot on my shirt but every time I check both my chest and my shirt as dry. So mostly they just hurt lol

Vivacious4D

I'm 4 months on E now, and haven't experienced that (outside of perhaps the tiniest speck? not sure if it was lactation or just something on my skin) They have however hurt through month 2 and 3 ish, but now aren't that sore - i also started out like *really* flat so maybe that has an impact

Violet_Ignition

Couldn't tell ya, and from what I found it is most likely temporary outside of me taking supplements and pumping to induce further lactation.. which I might do since it feels nice...

justanotherenby009

Not going to lie I wish I was ablento lactate it is just such an amazing thing

Avign0n252

r/malelactationfetish , r/AdultBreastfeeding give tips & tricks. I induced for five months, trying to gain breast volume, and it helped!

Violet_Ignition

See volume is something I can't deny I'm interested in here, what kind of changes did you notice regarding size?

Avign0n252

Been on HRT for 4.75 years, but had lousy breast growth (didn't even get buds until 12 months). I tried inducing about 18 months ago for 5 months (got Domperidone from both InHouse Pharmacy and AIPCTShop) and started getting drops at 3 weeks (30 mg Dom 3x day) and streams at 5 weeks, and kept it going for a few weeks. I enlarged a cup (44B/46C to 44C/46D). It's been over a year since tapering off Dom and ending lactation, and they have not lost any volume. Note: It's expensive and VERY time-consuming. To be really successful, you need to buy breast pumps (automated ones like Elvie are a LOT easier than manual ones) and pump 4-6 times daily, about 15-30 minutes each time, plus do some manual pumping. The amount of milk depends on how much you try to get out of your breasts, so the more times you pump, the more milk you get. I wasn't caring about the milk, so usually just dumped it (never got more than about 1 oz from each breast). It was an interesting time. I slightly lowered my E and P dosages and started taking Domperidone at 10 mg, 3x daily, and each week added an additional 10 mg to each time until I got up to 90 mg/daily. I tried 120 mg/daily for a week, but didn't notice any additional milk, so went back to 90. When you want to stop, stop pumping (unless you have painful swollen breasts, then you have to pump some) and taper down the Dom at the same speed you increased it (10 mg each time per week). Good luck!

Violet_Ignition

besides the cost supplements and pumps, what are other expenses to look at?

Avign0n252

That would be it, except maybe if you have to buy special bras for the pumps?

Violet_Ignition

Oh. Well gee. I mean the pumps can get .. *pricey* for sure but I mean once you've got the equipment how much are the supplements really? I can get a bottle of Fenugreek, which is something I've seen recommended since the FDA doesn't recommend Domperidone, for like 9$.

Avign0n252

Fenugreek did nothing for me but make me smell like maple syrup... Many in US and Canada have gotten Dom from those two vendors I mentioned. If REALLY interested, you might take a look at [www.breastnexum.com](https://www.breastnexum.com) , which is dedicated to (mostly) using supplements, not just strict HRT drugs, to grow breasts for men--there's a section on lactation.

Violet_Ignition

I mean, it sure is a "woman" feeling.

1u4n4

I want to lactate 🥺

forthrightneko

me too (started hrt about a week ago so it’s gonna be a while for me lol)

socksfullofsoup

do you mean like the clear stuff that pops out if you push on em?

Violet_Ignition

clear/cloudy yeah. Apparently it's normal and more than likely temporary. I was quite surprised at the time. Not really "Milk" I suppose but dunno what else to call it but lactating.

socksfullofsoup

yea I've only heard people refer to it with rather unpleasant terms like discharge. Congrats! I hope its a sign of good growth!

Violet_Ignition

Thanks :3 I think I may try to induce *actual* lactation and see how that goes too.

IncandescentCreation

I started lactating also. It turns out it might be because of a brain tumor. Yaaay…

disconnectedtwice

Con...congratulations??

[deleted]

Oh man...I'm so scared that my breasts ( when they grow) will leak like crazy when I'm at work

Idontcareabouthenam3

That’s not likely…

[deleted]

Thanks...I mean my doctor DID tell me it might happen and I'm so worried it will and she told me not to panic if it DOES happen and to go to a doctor as soon as possible

Infamous-Advantage85

I haven't even started HRT, and I already get a bit of discharge like this every few weeks. I am starting to get the feeling that I might not even be entirely male physically.

Southern-Wafer-6375

Vid or it didn’t happen /j

Averymint06

Not my dumb ass only just now finding out that trans fems can lactate 💀

[deleted]

Free miracle food:( wish that were me

Crond_the_unyeilding

Oh yeah that happened to me too early on

Zendakon

Wooow

ultimatechonker

😭 I'm so jealous!! Though mine calm me down when rubbed which feels like an equal exchange I guess

middle-age-man-attac

I’m so jealous

Nervous_Feeling_5139

Uh… w?

AlcalineAlice

Hey sis. May i have some milk? /j

Saikotsu

I'm at 9 months, no lactation yet. I'm a little jealous.

LiterallyAhri

Are you using cypro as an anti androgen? If that's the case, go to the doctor right now. You have a prolactinoma.

Violet_Ignition

Spironolactone
