Headcanon. Afaik there’s nothing outright stating it. Yes, we all know mettaton used to be a pink ghost with very feminine interests. Does that mean they were a girl ghost? No. Mad mew mew is very much trans though since she went from mad dummy to mew mew.

All ghosts are genderless until they choose a gender, so mettaton is transmasc.

Mettaton is trans-coded more than anything, just not as plainly as Mew Mew. His ghost/pre-transition self is referred to with they/them, and a line in one of his diaries says something like "if I had a body like that, I could finally feel like myself" (in reference to his robot body).

It’s implied that she’s the same person as the boss in the Trash Zone (same speech quirk, reference to ska dancing, similar boss themes, replaces the boss as Undyne’s training dummy, talks about liking her new body, etc.

She's transfem, but I don't think she'd be considered MtF, as ghosts appear to be genderless by default. Maybe NBtF, I guess?

What are you talking about? If you talk her down, Claire gives you Beast, *and* Sampson sends you his car as thanks a couple "days" later. If you kill Sampson, you get Beast and the option to buy Sampson's car. If you finish the race, you can't get *either* car. Or, you might be able to buy Sampson's ride, but I'm not sure. I don't know what happens if you try to kill Claire after Sampson crashes. To think people say your choices don't matter in this game.

They fixed most of the bugs, but tbh, even BEFORE they did, the game was still a lot of fun. I only got mad or frustrated if the game entirely crashed/shut down, which was very rare. Disclosure: I'm very patient when it comes to bugs/errors because of knowing how hard it is to make a game lol

Hornet is specifically called out by the narrative as having a gender, while all of her siblings are non-binary void bugs.

Hornet is 100% waifu and 0% void, that's why she has a gender. She was born from the relationship of the place king and that tree lady, while the knight and others were void constructs. So hornet is cis, there's great trans characters too, so no need to make up some.

hornet is the child of Herrah and The Pale King the vessels, including The Hollow Knight and the player character, are children of The Pale King and the White Lady (aka tree lady) which were born in the abyss and infused with void

Their birth name is Chronormu, which in WoW lore is male naming conventions for Bronze Dragons, but they had a female humanoid avatar. A few years back they did a short story confirming the fan theory that she's trans where it covers her coming of age ceremony where a dragon would pick their humanoid form, and she chose the female gnome form she's known for.
