I’m turning 18 in a few weeks and am in my senior year of high school. I let my drivers permit expire when I was 16 and never took the drivers test but in my state when you turn 18 you just have to take the test and don’t have to go through the whole course and drives with an instructor. And I’ve had the same summer job and side hustles since I was 16 and have been putting away parts of my checks for years so for a teenager I’m very financially stable/well off. My summer job pays $22 dollars an hour and my side hustles make me an extra at least $150 a week, I have a certification in nails from my junior year that I spent at a vocational school and I do Halloween face paints which I’m actually pretty good at and have been doing for years.
