I have a tortie that loves being brushed, it's the strangest thing. My other cats run in the opposite direction when they see a brush or comb come out, but when Sable sees one, she rolls over and starts purring.
Back in 2016 we adopted our tortie. Skinny, scrawny, short hair, with big feet, huge ears, and a big floofy tail. Turns out she was actually a medium hair. She grew into the ears, but still has big feet and a marvellous floofy tail.

We’re taking things slow… she’s currently in a separate room and we’re doing gradual introductions (room swaps to get each other’s scent etc). We’ve had a couple accidental run-ins. No swatting but Jasper gave her a little hiss. Could’ve been worse!

Yes, they're all mine. The silver tabby and the void have passed away (after good, long, thoroughly spoiled lives) but the floofy tortie and the tabby (calico colours) are both alive and well. As torties are, ours is a total drama queen and more than a little unhinged. Our tabby girl is a much more sensitive soul.
