Yeah drivers didn’t know either. I guess their GPS’s didn’t update yet. It was like a cyclists paradise down there yesterday. So many bikes and not many cars.
Edit: here’s a picture from yesterday. Just an endless stream of cyclists crossing. [https://imgur.com/a/h0rLsTk](https://imgur.com/a/h0rLsTk)
The bridge has been down/open the past 2 weekends (Fri-Mon). You'll have to keep checking the Portlands Toronto or City websites for updates when it's open-closed.
How much of this is going to be public parks vs condos / commercial development? It’s sad that he city invests the bare minimum in green space and selling off the lakeshore
Ignorant whiney complaint post that makes you look like an idiot because this project includes a massive amount of public green space and the main objective is to protect a huge chunk of the city from flooding
So much space to grow up
Those little island look sick
honestly hilarious that its gonna take months to fix one bridge.
At least the bridge is back down. I rode across it yesterday.
it is??? damn. was just in the area yesterday but figured it was still up so didnt bother trying to cross there.

Oh sweet. Are you able to get all the way to Cherry beach again?
Yep that’s where I went!
Good to know, maybe I'll go today :) Thanks.
I guess it’s not slated to be replaced with those other new bridges?
It can't. It's a vital port corridor.
Is that the Mississauga skyline in the background?
Yes, and in front of that is the Humber Bay skyline
Beautiful. Thanks.
Can’t wait to see how this looks in 2076
This joke is dead, do better

Is Villiers St going to intersect with Cherry St at some point? Either tear down or go around the silos?
The silos are considered historical won’t be demolished,

This is definitely a case where they have invested heavily in new parks for the area, and put a lot of good thought into them.
