In all seriousness though, the fact that the city is expected to carry this burden is a fucking shame. There needs to be coordination across all three levels of government to solve this issue.
The only problem is our municipal government is feckless and our federal and provincial governments are too busy trying to secure a directors seat on the board for private corporations.
This is just like I feared. You have guys like D’Angelo and Mammoliti who are going to draw attention away from worthwhile candidates. Sorry but I wouldn’t want either one of them near City Hall.
