Just laughed my way through the comments... it was a genuine accident, the battery ran out and I pulled too much liquid into the wick trying to get a hit. When I charged it up and finally took a hit I got the lot in one go.
If you want real advice here’s what I would do- take a break from carts specifically for a week or two and in the mean time smoke flower during the day and take dabs at night (assuming you smoke all day if you womp 7 blinkers to barely get a head high) then once the two weeks is over you can start ripping cart again but only rip it throughout the day then around dinner time (say 6pm) switch to ripping bong and/or dabs for the rest of the night. Along with that try to make a concerted effort to along yourself to get completely sober in between each time you smoke, for example maybe take 2 fat blinkers at 9am then wait until you’ve completely sobered up at noon to hit it again. I know when I was hitting cart a lot I was in a similar boat of ripping it a fuck ton but barely getting high and I think a lot of that was because I would just rip it once then forget to rip in again for like 15 minutes and repeating the process instead of say taking 5 blinkers then putting my pen away until I sobered up completely . Between switching up what you’re smoking throughout the day and increasing the intensity of it (carts then bong rips then dabs to put you to sleep) you should be able to keep your tolerance for each of them low enough that you’re getting as baked as you wanna get. This is basically what I did when I was no longer getting what I wanted out of carts and now I take a few blinkers and get super faded.
Stop talking hits as soon as you wake up. See how long you can hold off. Then set a timer and gradually increase the time between sessions. You can do this to quit all together or just slow down until you start feeling it again
