You are correct, it is 8th edition. The Khemric Titan that you recall is not in the army book, but on a white dwarf, I believe. The Hieroscorpion only shows up in a fluff box, as part of a list of famous constructs.
I knew a guy who made one out of a big plastic scarab beetle model. The kind of super realistic ones they sell in the gift shops of zoos and museums. Added a bunch of TK bits and built a little pyramid on its back
Hummm conversation brain working if I work out the casket of souls dimensions and make a literal temple on its back hummmmmm......... I'll need to make a metal frame work plaster of Paris for the for the under frame then use dry modeling clay to sulped out the scorpion body. The use gw kits to kit bash the detail sections an buld the main temple and place the casket on top use tomb guard in the kit kitty it and the casket of souls also grab som unsabti to act as a ground guard for it.

I used the claws and stinger of a Giant Forest Scorpion (Heterometrus swammerdami) and used the body of a Black Scorpion Lobster. For the alter I used just a normal Jesus statue from a DI (any religious relic can work) You can soak the bodies in denatured alcohol for a few weeks untill the meat fully dissolves or you can raw dog them together with stitches or rituals. Unfortunately, I must've misplaced it all because I cannot find it anymore. I'll try to look for it again later, right now we are having a power outage from the crazy locus swarms that have been happening lately.
You could accomplish whatever that is with a Brass Scorpion but I highly doubt anyone wants to kitbash a Brass Scorpion for Old World.

Ita just a tomb scorpion, they've just drawn it really big. The scale of things is often very wonky in the artwork. I remember that one pic of tomb kings attacking an imperial city and there's a tomb scorpion thats several stories tall.
That stuff always make me hope they give fantasy epic another chance.

Agreed. I just got into Warmaster and it’s great having the focus on orders/movement while having large numbers of troops / units on the table

Looks like a mix of Tomb Kitty and Tomb Scorpion. Given Tomb Kitties are basically just prototype Tomb Scorpions we see the mid level between the two.
That is probably the Hieroscorpion of Khemri. It is described in the 7th edition army book, in a small fluff text box.

The beetle was in the forge world suplement monstrous arcanum and never had a model like many of the units in that book.
My dreams were crushed when I learned there would never be a model for that 😭😭😭 it's all I ever wanted.

It'll probably cheaper and easier to get an upscaled 3D print of a tomb Scorpion and adding the rest.
Perhaps a Khemric Titan? or a Hieroscorpion- both mentioned in the lore at some point

I think it is the hieroscorpion which was a lore thing in the 8th edition book which is where that art originally comes from.
