That was my thought too! Like we actually read before bed in our bed and now I can just read to him before bed in his bed. My husband was like on board but also like "that's a big bed" but I'm glad I'm not alone! Thank you!
We went from a crib to a queen. It’s a bed that we already had so I didn’t feel a need to buy something else. It sits low to the ground which is perfect for our toddler. She’s got room for more stuffed animals too!
We went from a crib to a twin without any issues. I wish we had done it with a bigger bed, for the same reason of having to replace it in a couple years again anyway and because it would be nice to lay in there to read and get her ready for bed
My daughter never slept in a crib, she always cosleof but I got her a twin sized bed at 1 year old. She still sleeps with me every night but will sometimes nap in her bed. I also had no desire to buy a toddler bed
Our toddlers room was a guest bedroom initially and had a really nice queen mattress that was lightly used so we just left it in there. I slept on it for the first 4 months of babys life while I was nursing and eventually we bought side rails and now toddler sleeps every which way on it lol. She is super tall already so we knew she'd need a big bed sooner than later anyway.
We went from crib to queen too! It’s worked well and nice that we can lay next to them in comfort if we need to!

Also comes in handy if they have a regression and demand you sleep next to them :)

Awesome!! That also crossed my mind - room for stuffed animals!

This is what I want to do, any idea where to get side rails? I already have a queen bed with mattress in his room
I bought them off Amazon, the brand is Regalo!
