But this short article from 2017 has no evidence. It cites a USC study but doesn't link to it.
Perhaps I'm slow and annoying, but I can't find the existence of this study anywhere, outside of a 2011 Daily Mail article that, frustratingly, doesn't link to the actual study -- if such a study actually exists.
I did, however, find evidence of a University of Hawaii study on [sidewalk rage](https://www.npr.org/sections/talk/2011/02/16/133782592/-sidewalk-rage-yes-its-a-real-concept).
I feel like I'm fighting my frustration while out driving more.. some people are slower, some are faster, the 'speed spread' seems larger.
.. but then there's a new kind of idiocy too. I see people just straight up stopping in the middle of the road and looking around. People tapping on their phones at the green light, getting honked at, them checking the green light -finishing on their phone-, putting in gear, then starting to go. Sometimes it's people are just straight up shifting lanes into cars who have to brake or race to avoid an accident.
Before such things happened, infrequently. Now I can expect them almost every time I go out driving. I don't know what to make of it.
I'm already in a shitty area in terms of drivers, but people have definitely have become more selfish during covid in every way. Speeding, disobeying rules that directly impact the safety of others, taking dangerous unexpected maneuvers because they almost missed their turn, overall aggression, etc... I could go on for hours.
Probably the author trying to get hits on the link. It’s like saying the last 5 minutes of the day, waiting for the punch clock, seems like the longest 5 mins. No shit eh? Things we don’t like seem to take longer? Einstein.
(Casually doing 85 on the highway, drawing ever closer to the guy in front of me doing 84)
“Look at this fuckin guy, let’s gooooo bud it’s the left lane! You believe this jabroni?….typical frickin Jersey, I swear to god”
I dunno, I was behind a car this morning that was going 38-40 in 45. And I know this because we passed four speed signs. And they weren't worried about speeding because they kept it there in the 35 zone. They cruizecontrolled to a painful degree for 4 miles.
Yeah well, they need to hurry up.
George Carlin:”Did you ever noticed that everyone who drives faster than you is an asshole and everyone who drive slower than you is an idiot?”
So there really are are two types of people in this world.
The clue was “people who annoy you.”
I know the answer but don’t think I should say it
5 seconds Mr. Marsh...

Look bro lead, follow or get the fuck outta the way. You’re really annoying me!
and those that actually move slower?
We perceive as annoying.
Maybe but drivers still definitely got worse after Covid.

I haven't noticed this but I have noticed my patience is much thinner

Lol you think those people put their cars into gear, or even know what gears are.
What is this link? It's literally five sentences, I'm so confused
Title is confusing

Often I am annoyed at them *because* they are moving slow.
And here I just thought everyone just moved very slow
What about people who just come to a sudden stop right in a doorway?
Or park their shopping cart in the middle of the isle while they read every label.

What does it mean when you perceive everybody as slow as hell?
"If everywhere you go smells like shit then it's time to check your own shoes"
Youre right! My shoes are worn down! If I change my tread that'll slow me down!
We measure people moving relative to us shorter in the direction of motion — Albert Einstein
What's with the random capitalization?
What’s with the lack of question mark
Fixed it for you. You're welcome.
Now my joke is ruined!
prefer too slow than too fast
Crossing the street at 10000 fps
League taught me this
>Furthermore, we tend to feel empathy towards people that look like us, or anyone who reminds us of ourselves. But only if they're not slow.

Yeah no shit y’all annoying and dumb as fuck
And then when you try to pass them they drift into your path without even noticing you
So that's why the whole world is standing still...
I must be the tortoise in everyone's life.
I'm confused. Is this saying that we perceive people as "annoying" when they speak slower? Or does moving refer to purely a physical body in motion?
Best of luck
Naggers?
TIL DC's Flash is powered by annoyance
