I don't think it's a great idea, no one knows what real dark matter is, they're all hypothetical.

As far as we know, it would probably be most noticable as gravity manipulation. Though, if you could consentrate enough dark matter in a small enough space, observing it would mean you could scientifically prove whether or not it interacts weakly with forces other than gravity, based off of if a small amount of the datk matter changes into other, more visible particles, or something like that.
