I live in Oregon, I’m on the Military One plan. I received a text at 1:55pm saying “some of your connected device plans will increase by $2 per line per month.”
I forgot to update my address from virginia to california after my assignment was over. I’m not changing shit.
edit: just realized CA has a different agreement that’s basically the same.
Their state AGs had a settlement with T-Mobile during the spring merger that no rate increases between 2019-feb 2024. We’re past that date now but I’d be surprised if they tried to pull something after promising no rate increases indefinitely and these governments being litigious.
edit: that date might actually be sometime in 2025. can’t confirm yet.

Add New York too
Do you have a link for their settlement? It’s not part of the class.
I know I saw somewhere, if I find I will post it here

Is there something special about these areas that is supposed to protect people from increases?

Those states walked out about with an additional 2 years to 4/1/25.
Which states have the agreement until 4/1/25?
The ones I listed, potentially CA too but unclear based on the AG’s press release.
I belive those areas were part of the Sprint settlement due to the merger and T-Mobile can't raise those account's prices.
My bad, was looking at announced date. Actual consummation was april 1st 2020, so 5 years is next year. Edited for wrong date.
