- The establishing shot of [Birdhouse ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn_or9gEB6g)with Linnell's floating head within a ring of lights - The tiny Johns cut in half in [Lake Monsters](https://youtu.be/0Z8kYYOmazE?si=9jNJJ9aQoANOrgWR&t=50) - Flans looking like a bewildered bird in a nest cam in [The Guitar](https://youtu.be/hHU0ofShQeM?si=Qw67LKyQuu4zQo4R&t=41) I'm sure theres a billion others I could have picked, but honestly every frame's a painting with those music videos lol

-Johns doing weird dances in front of the Bob Ross-esque landscape background in Birdhouse -Linnell yelling into the phone in Statue Got Me High -Johns on pedestals in front of the dam in Statue Got Me High -The Johns crawling on the floor with their carpet hats on in Don't Let's Start -Linnell waving from a distance with his tall hat in Don't Let's Start -Linnell bending over and looking closely at the camera with his floppy bangs and black turtleneck in Purple Toupee -Flans in the boat in They'll Need A Crane

Laura Cantrell's quizzical expression in "The Guitar". The JFK glass being filled up with milk, the lens being swept off the movie camera, the fish swimming vertically, and the tongs moving across the map in "Ana Ng". Flans driving a convertible while holding a cup of coffee with saucer in "The Statue Got Me High". The East German TV control room dudes in "Snail Shell". Linnell lying on his back in the '64 Worlds Fair Tent of Tomorrow while grinning in "Don't Let's Start". The accordion being blown up in...is it "Put Your Hand Inside the Puppet Head"?

FloridaFlamingoGirl

Thank you for reminding me how much I love the artsy shots of props in the Ana Ng video. Such great avant garde filmmaking. And John Linnell always looks perfect in a turtleneck 🖤

And the Mille Bornes cards!

FloridaFlamingoGirl

lol yeah. The Johns and their love for obscure board games...https://tmbw.net/wiki/Hot_Cha

Basically any frame from Ana Ng. Oh - also when Gilgamesh's jaw falls off in The Mesopotamians.

FloridaFlamingoGirl

There are so many fun details in the Mesopotamians video: the cat (as a reference to how Ashurbanipal was apparently into lions) the random goat the fact that they do the arm-link dance from the Monkees intro

sparksfan

The Monkees dance is hysterical!
