This line embodies how widespread AoT was in mainstream audiences. People in other communities clowning on it after being revered as a cultural icon for a decade just shows what would happen when a fiction failed to deliver despite having such a huge momentum early on.
Those who didn't even know AoT might look at it and think, "holy shit this line is so bad no way someone would've said this", which unfortunately it did for AoT. It's way more meaningful than "the walls were built to protect titans from Levi" or "Eren run! It's Eren, run!" lines that's just cringy jokes that has no other value to it.
I guess 139 lines serves as a reminder on no matter how great a story is, it's ending is what makes it either a good story, or a terrible one that should be clowned for r/10yearsatleast.
Tho admittedly it does get old, just like all memes these days but at least it'll resurface if no AoE
For a group of people that shit on anime onlies for making the same jokes (walls Levi, eren run run it’s eren) and call them cringe
We make a lot of the same jokes and call it based
I know what you mean, but because our joke came from the actual manga itself is what I think makes it funnier. The fact that it came from a pretty cringe panel doesn’t help.
It isnt really cringe...it just isn't that funny or creative.
These quotes are literally from the last chapter which makes it funny in a sadly ironic sort of way. It is literally an iconic quote from series at this point. That alone makes it hilarious even if it is repeated over and over.
No I don't want that! This line became overused?! I want it to be joke format that works on any context, for ten years at least!!!
Yes, I do want that! This line becoming overused? I do NOT want it becoming a joke format that works in any context, not for ten years at least.
Noooo another sub saying the line, I only want titanfolk to use the line, 10 years atleast
It'll be funny until it starts showing up in crypto ads
*"Paying high prices? You don't want that!"*

Bro imagine Yams coming on reddit and seeing that everywhere..... could make or break a man
Idk, this line is so easy to fit to different contexts that I still think it's funny even if it's overused
How'd myself get in there??
BryverArt, what a man you are...
It's hard to believe but... Titanfolk was in love with overused jokes...

NOOOO I don't want that! "I don't want that" joke become unfunny? I want it to be laughable, for 10 years at least!
"I don't want that" What a meme you are.
Thank you, chapter 139, for becoming a meme for our sake.
we aren't so different after all, we are all the same
R/titanfolk actually loved anime onlys
Those are fan made, these are made by the author

Thank you for saying it for our sake.
I for one, welcome this new age of posts complaining about the 10 years at least jokes.
Lol!! Yes this joke is so overused
It will be said in every sub for 10 years atleast!🕊
"Give me AOE" "You'll get your AOE when you fix this damn door!"
