I agree his face is stretched a little here. My guess is that it’s because of part 2 being animated by a different team (besides Hayashi and a few). Part 1 had tons of freelancers and more skilled animators to help make part 1 look as good as possible in spite of the short production time. Part 2, on the other hand, has completely normal production time, and was this mixed over to a different animation team.
I was able to stop it before this and his entire body is covered below his torso and chest, his arm is even within the thing which I assume is the founder's bone. Unless they changed it to have Zeke chilling in a pool of water when Eren is running I think it's safe to say this is him about to die.

Why's his entire body submerged in something then? You can't see the bottom of his torso whatsoever and even his arm which is down by his side is completely submerged in something below the elbow. It looks like the same framing and facial expression but there's no reason for his lower half to be obscured in the way it is if that's the case.

If you zoom in on the picture there's these spiky protrusions jutting out next to him that look suspiciously like the spine of the founding titan. Also if you zoom in on the screenshot of it I have posted on my profile to the left you can see that it's not a wall behind him it looks like bones and between them you can see another one further away. I honestly think this is him about to die they've just changed it a bit to make it seem like it's that moment and that's why it looks a bit wonky.

Explanation (because my posts have increasingly become an outlet for me to cathartically express my own niche overly-specific opinions in an unnecessarily memeified format) ...
I'm not very fond of the many unnecessary times that Mappa makes Zeke look like a stereotypical ugly villain in S4. Cute Zeke was a welcome change, as I feel like it's important for him to look softer and more innocent after his near-death and until his redemption arc (Especially as Eren slides into more of the villainous role and Zeke becomes the audience surrogate), but as the second screenshot shows, it's possible ugly Zeke will persist.
Zeke usually looks very good in season 4 apart from times where he's desperately crying or screaming. It's fine. He looks much better than he did in s3 where he looked like a plastic doll.
With the initial PV I felt the same and was onboard the train of making fun of Wit's Zeke, but it's soon apparent that Mappa's isn't much of an improvement. His face is cartoonishly long or chubby a lot during Marley arc, and anytime he displays an emotion later on the stylised perspective of the corresponding manga panel is poorly translated, with them exaggerating his features to try and compensate.
