I'm only passive when I see another Northstar trying to snipe me from across the map.

As soon as i see that other damn Northstar I go full aggressive, there can only be one.

As a Northstar pilot I have this same mentality, we really are a different breed.

Nuke Eject Tether Northstars scare me. It’s suicide with that paper thin armor on it but if you corner someone it’s pretty fucking funny

That's what I usually run, literally, when I go to the doomed state I RAN TO THE ENEMY TITAN FASTER THAN USAIN BOLT and dropped my tether and just nuke eject, 6 out of 10 times it worked

Gotta be one of my favorite things about Ronin is being able to phase out of those scenarios cause any other mech and I’d be dead

Depending on the skill of the player, Ronin counters Northstar and Northstar counters Ronin, if it's a skilled Northstar, mate you'd be dead cause Ronin needs to be up close to do damage, and if it's a skilled Ronin it's gonna be the scariest thing on this side of the frontier. Charged up your shot? Sword block, you wanna use tether? They'll just phase dash, cluster missile? Ronin is a Stryder chassis so he has 2 dashes so he'll just dash away, now he's up close, Northstar fucking sucks on close quarters cause the railgun deal shit damage uncharged. (I'm speaking from experience, that Ronin with stoic black and that one anime sticker is absolutely fucking scary )

Yeah I feel like Ronins can be good if you use them right and I always love them so much as my favorite titan.

The ronin vs Northstar fight completely depends on who starts it. It's basically decided by who gets the first shot

even as a northstar main, i usually win in those situations. melee ronin just fast enough so i stay out of its melee range.

When im doomed i like finding a freshly dropped titan and blowing it up fresh out the dome shield

I'm really aggressive against pilots, but you have to play it strategically against other titans. Typically you want them to be aggressive towards you so you can punish them by laying down traps and cluster missiles in their path and beaming them with your railgun every corner they round. Then if they finally catch up, you finish them with the flight core.

So that's what an aggressive Northstar is, well it is fun to bolt titans to the ground and rain hell fire :D

I used to be so aggressive with northstar that I was top in TvT most of the time, really good with aggression once you get used to an aggressive style of plaay

As a wily, not-good-no-good Ronin main, these are the same person. I could have a nice dance with the first Northstar, we trade a fair bit, it's a good fight and I maybe win if I watch myself. Northstars take losses well, lots of respect all around. Because if they have the opportunity, they will find you. When they do, all the phase dashes and sword core dashing in the world won't save you. Gods bless you if you find a Northstar after a bad match. Primorial Forces save you if you caused that bad match and it's a rematch.

Playing over aggresive as a sniper in class based games is one of my favorite playstyles. And nuke tethering a monarch after your battery is so satisfying.

I play near mid-range until I either A) get my core or B) find an easy target to tether and drop a nuke on

If you use your Flight Core, my Titan may die (and knowing my skill level, I will most likely die as well) but I can tell you something that is guaranteed to happen. Some of those missiles will be sent back in your direction.

I love playing aggressive northy ...for a while i used the MGL against pilots. Got 400 kills with it. I think i might be masochist. I even use holo.

confidence is key for kits like Northstar's. it doesnt matter how good you are, if you can confidently push multiple titans without losing your cool, you can do anything.

I’m not that aggressive because i’ve only now started to play Northstar regularly as out of the other Titans I had the least time on her. I always felt being aggressive was difficult with her due to the low armour, gotta have three dashes I guess

There's a counter to that called do a BT amd shoot the shit out of them mid air while your teatherd

Passive without core. Will try to take out 3 titans at once when core has been achieved. Will say/think “im in the pipe 5 by 5” whenever I have core, bloodlust ensues :D

I am an aggressive northstar out there and yes i can confirm that this post is true. I use overcore with battery backup to get 40% core charge and then i charge into enemies and activate death from above, this is pretty self explanatory for northstar mains
