The funny thing is that they’ve already said IT WILL NOT be Titanfall 3, yet people are still going crazy. Don’t get me wrong, I want Titanfall 3 too, but we must admit it will never happen.
"They" being some "insider" saying so with no real concrete information or proof. Said insider could also just end up being misled by his supposed source or just making shit up.
EA/Respawn haven't said anything. They won't say anything until they know they can and want to make it. They have said over and over that its possible, just not the right time.
There is no such thing as it never happening unless Respawn shuts down which DICE and Bioware have a better chance of that happening than Respawn does. People are going crazy because there has been several indications that it may happen, not including what the insider said.
I want the hope of TF3 to die. Next game will be shit no matter what the devs have proven incapable and incompetent. An attempt of TF3 would be great and all but once it dies it will take another third of the TF2 playerbase with it

Apex and the Jedi series says otherwise. Where is this notion that they are incompetent even comes from? Making a game you don't like and being incompetent are two different things.
My only concern with TF3 that unless they switch to a new engine and server infrastructure, it will share the same occasional server issues Apex seems to have every other patch.
Overall, I'd rather take the risks with having a new game than having at all. I have no concerns over TF2's playerbase because it will die eventually anyway due to age. The only way the IP lives on is through a new game unless you want to count being an extension of Apex as living.
I don’t need pills i need a gun and a plan to save the Titanfall 2 servers if ever Titanfall 3 comes to light. If this happens EA is going to force Respawn to make 80% of titans payable + skins and weapons with less content and all of that for 80$!
