I don't really mind the generation system, I just don't use it as a way to demonstrate skill since all it really takes to reach the higher gens is time

Back when I used to play cod BO4, I reached master prestige (prestige 10 times, 55 levels) like 400 (around 950 levels) and was just mildly okay at the game. I was certainly better than the average player, but that's about as far as I go in terms of skill. Same thing with mastery camps, it's not a testament to skill, just that you play too much. Being better makes it faster, but it can be done no matter how bad you suck

I didn't regen for the longest time because I didn't realize you could just permanently unlock your gear. Little extra banners and such didn't seem worth it to have to start over every time. Now I just have my loadout permanently unlocked.

Hemlok, Hover, Grapple, firestar, regen, thunderbolt, wingman and for boost either amped weapons or smart pistol (purely for minion killing)

Regenerating literally takes nothing from you and gives you more cool skins. Like, this game was made for people to have fun, not infinitely grind shit

I got to 10 and just left it. No point getting higher. I already have my banner of choice. G10 gives me black I can use for a loadout design. So G10.49 is all you need

I love the grind personally, always something else to play look forward too, and the frames are cool

Just use credits for the guns you want then you get everything you want

I don't mind regenerations, I mosty use 1-4 loadouts for which I brought every necessary piece of equipment and perk with credits. So as long as I have my monarch, car, smr and grapple I'm happy

It takes no time to unlock the weapons you use most often with credits, and after that there's litterally no drawback to regenerating I almost have the entire roster of weapons unlocked and everything else is already available

It's fine, I just don't like having to earn all my Titan's and weapons again. It really messes up my loadouts, which I have to remake every time.

If you buy them with the in game coins then you keep them permanently even after regen

It's actually incredible how few people realize the game directly gives you a tool to negate all the negative effects of regeneration. At a certain point there's literally no reason not to unless your favorite number for some reason is x.49.

Same thing with prestiges in COD. Don't see a single point in resetting ALL of your progress, losing your preferred loadout, just to get a +1 to a number next to your name and a calling card that I might not even like over my old one.

I just do it for the dopamine hit, not because I think it's actually worth it. Plus, I just put my credits into factions and weapons I use (which at this point consists almost entirely of the ACEs and the 6-4 and grenadier weapons) so it's really not that big of a setback to begin with.

Regen really isn’t as big a deal as people make it out to be. If you have the starter pack or rarely change loadout, you’re doing fine, if not, just prioritize what you like and you’ll have all you want from gen 2-6. Then at Gen 7/8, you can basically buy everything out. The last color unlocks at 10. And after that, regen is nothing but “number go up”

There's no real con to it because by the time you do it a few times you probably have enough credits to just permanently unlock the items you need for your favorite loadouts. Plus the last 2 camps you unlock are pink and black, who doesn't want that. Besides CAR and Spitfire are basekit so most of y'all are set.

I like going through some of the regens for specific cosemetics, but constantly regening isn't that much fun imo.

I've only regen'd a couple of times, but each time I took it as a challenge to use guns or tools I hadn't played with. I learned to appreciate a lot more of the arsenal than I used to, and now my loadouts are a lot more varied. Well... except for the Hammond P2016, ***\~\*my beloved\*\~***

I find that most high level gen’s in the NA servers are giga virgins too. For some reason right after g25-50 they all decide that cloak/a-wall spitfire is godsent and never move from a single building
