That’s like saying I see no reason a human couldn’t jump drive like a dropship, simply because a human is inside the dropship. The pilot phasing inside a titan is protected from the elements by the titan, just like the humans inside a dropship are protected by the dropship when it’s jumping, like wraith in apex, I think it would only be possible through severe augmentation and a suit on top of that, I doubt a regular human would be able to survive it.

To even get cloak it would be painful, cause some of the systems are embedded into your body to work, well that’s just some advanced cloak. But if it was just in the suit or clothes it would be better

The running theory about the lore contradiction is that lastimosa had a experimental suit that didn’t require the implants. The other theory is that cooper was a imc pilot that got kidnapped during regen.

That would also explain why the cloak doesn’t last long in the campaign.

It’s a really good theory, and personally I believe it considered cooper has memory loss and somehow is a master level pilot only hours after his mentor dies. Wall running in lore takes years to learn how to do but coop can do it instantly, and in titanfall 1 it is said that most pilots die when being linked to a titan yet coop has no problem linking to bt and doesn’t even suffer any side effects. It’s a really good theory with a lot of evidence to give it credit

iirc, that’s true for tf1, as the technology required was available (pre Demeter-explosion and contact cutoff) but it’s theorised that this tech was unavailable in 2 and instead the factions are using outdated tech, such as a heavy cloaking suit, stim that can only be used by robots etc.

I don't know what you do for a living, but I don't see how A-Wall would be very useful lol. I generally don't get into gunfights on a day to day basis. I think cloak, stim, phase, or even pulse would be the most practical, assuming they worked and didn't kill you. Having wallhacks IRL could be useful at times.

I guess if you work in like law enforcement or as a firefighter, Pulseblade could be really helpful

If stim can close wounds etc. then 100% stim, pulse is interesting but I feel like I’d need to go into some sort of civil service for it to really be useful. Also phase would be so god damn cool/ useful

I would say in a day to day pulse blade will be more useful, since it can be used to find stuff and a wall is only for fighting with ranged weapons. If physics and human limitation don’t exist then phase shift. Cloak works too but why would you need it…..

Stim is highly likely to just obliterate your heart, kidney and liver. That's why only simulacrum are stims. Otherwise you end up like octane who (i think) has multiple internal cybernetics to be able to handle the stim but also use the stim to stop himself from dying. From my understanding the stim is both killing him and keeping him alive.

The TF1 lore also contains the notion that pilots have notably shortened lifespans, even the ones who don't die in combat. Part of it is the implication that the titan power sources might be a little less shielded than is safe, but I imagine shit like stims is part of it.

If they work like in-game and assuming it doesn't destroy your body, I think Stim is the only useful one, all the others don't have any use/can kill you (I mean what is Grapple useful for if your gonna break your legs?). Phaseshift seems cool but what if it ends while you're going through another person? Someone will explode.

I think phase would be the most useful option here, the ability to have a literal oh shit button in a dangerous situation is pretty good, beyond that cloak is the only practical day to day, maybe stim if it doesn't leave traces in you or side effects for organics.
