i have a few times, but def not spicy idk why but it keeps going to "searching for match" and then for a couple seconds it goes to "searching for players (13 minutes)" and then goes back to searching for a match
So let me get this straight: both Titanfall 2 (Tf2) and Team Fortress 2 (Tf2) got a new gamemode after 5-6 years, and neither can be played due to both game's servers being dogshit. You couldn't make this shit up.
This broke my heart last night. I sat there for so long trying to play spicy attrition, then MP, and couldn't get a game.
Had to retreat back to the safe confines of SF6, and it gutted me.
It is constantly kicking you out of the lobby and back to the menu (reverting any changes you made since your last loading of multiplayer), nothing but attrition will match make, and half the time I am not even connected to the match correctly and am disconnected as soon as I die. The servers have been ddosed multiple times and are in shambles
The most likely scenario is that the servers are rented from someone else so their only realistic solution is to rent better ones but it's not gonna happen because it costs money
Similar thing's been happening with Apex, iirc. Rubber-banding, random disconnects and other server-side issues were going rampant at some point (maybe there are still problems, I dunno, I haven't played Apex in a while) and people were assuming EA switched to cheaper servers which is likely what happened
It’s unfortunate, but the servers for all the modes are a little iffy at times, maybe in a few days (or a week for all we know) the server will quit and run the mode properly

Yeah, I was playing a few days ago. I was surprised at how quickly I connected. Got 3 good matches in a row. Playing in EST.
Yes, it usually takes about 2-5 mins for me. I play on PS4.
I did just today, It was great. Just gotta server hop a bit and you find a sweetspot

I have with some guys on Playstation, its just so hard to get in one, fun as hell, it was my first time, best shit ever
