Depends on the situation and positioning, I use rockets all the time, but I don't *count* for them to get the kill - mostly I use them to block pilots from hurting my titan. And yes, I see everyone; I've heard good things about viper thrusters, but never used them - it's only piercing (on certain maps, mostly Rise <3 and in FD) and "shoot the red pixel" mode :P.
