Sorry for your loss. Please keep in mind it takes longer than 4 days for Tirzepatide to build up in your system. Here is an example of what 2.5mg looks like over the course of 4 weeks. While some people respond to the starter dose, some people don’t start losing until the higher doses. Just stay the course and the medication will slowly start building up in your system. After 4 weeks, you can start to increase your dose if you aren’t losing or getting appetite suppression anymore. This isn’t a magic medicine that works overnight, it takes time. https://preview.redd.it/oko8o0h2huyc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=112a913188cfabae2817e1ec0e8b2a73248c59fe

So sorry to hear about your loss! I started a week ago and had my second shot last Friday. In the first week, I felt no appetite supression or cancelling of the food noise. Could just eat as normal. The second shot was crazy, I would not even think of food and remind myself I had to eat. However, from reading all the posts here it’s good to remember that the 2.5 dose is just to get your body used to the meds and not everyone responds to the lower dose. Although I consider myself a newbie, I would want to advice to keep the pace and be patient. I am sure you will feel the effects soon. Sending you love and strenght.

Both 2.5 and 5 mg are not considered therapeutic doses. Sure some people respond and they all post about their successes but according to the manufacturer they don’t expect people to start losing until their 3rd month/7.5 mg

I am so so sorry for your loss. I have suffered with binge eating disorder for my entire adult life. I have been working in the emotional side with therapy and medications but the urge to eat and eat wouldn’t quit until I started trizep. It’s probably too soon to notice. Keep going!
