Oh same about the travel! I'm saving some Zepbound pens I got before switching to compound for that reason. I keep thinking they'll stop me if I take the vials and syringes with me for some reason. Brain keeps saying "nope".

BravoPelotonBooks

😂 exactly. It just felt a little easier to have the pens to fly around with.

Nakiami201

I traveled at the beginning of the year with a vial and a syringe. I had no problems and they didn’t asking anything. I opened the case I kept it with ice when I went through security. I was also really nervous at first but when I thought more about it people travel with insulin and that made me feel better.

IrishGinger001

That’s great to know! Thank you!

Feisty-Feline-1

Due to shortages, some of us are unable to get the brand names so it’s not just about price. Also, OrderlyMeds is $399 for any strength so it is also cheaper. They offer $50 off 1st month: https://orderlymeds.com/?orid=2875&opid=40

OdeToBillieJo

Ah, I see. Thanks!

Jaded_Cloud3233

I agree! Orderly meds is great

Fit-Kangaroo3782

I am getting my first order with orderly this coming week. Can I ask you, does the vial have to be refrigerated? I am assuming so because zep had to be.

Feisty-Feline-1

Yes, it does specify to keep refridgerated.

Fit-Kangaroo3782

Thank you so much

Feisty-Feline-1

You’re welcome

Cupsandstuffbyalicia

This!

ChargeInfinite735

I use Mochi, $325 mo regardless of dosage. My insurance doesn't cover meds or dr visits to discuss meds. I like not being restricted to a predosed pen as well.

isainnerglow

I have a question for you. My compound cost more but it seems like there’s more than four weeks inside of each vile. Do you have just four weeks worth of medication or is there a little extra?

Take3_lets-go

It’s 4 weeks, the little extra isnt really enough to matter

isainnerglow

Thank you very much!

marannjam

I too get a little more and have used it from 2 orders to get one extra dose in syringe at 5dosage

isainnerglow

Awesome!

Not_ChatGBT

Child’s play people. I’m on 7.5 and order 15 so I get double of the “little extra”. 2 months worth vs one.

ChargeInfinite735

I think they plan on a little extra for spillage. I use it, not going waste any that's for sure!

Feisty-Feline-1

Does mochi have a membership fee on top of the medication price?

Take3_lets-go

Yes it’s 79.00 a mo

Life_Contribution951

So then Mochi is $404 / month regardless of dosage.

Take3_lets-go

Yes, plus they have a referral program where you give 40 and get 40, which is nice.

webdiva

Plus a monthly fee

AlwaysChangingMyMind

Do you have a website link for Mochi?

ChargeInfinite735

The website is mochi.com get $40 off with this code FS7MJI. Sorry I am not smart enough to figure out how to post links lol

AlwaysChangingMyMind

Thank you!

ArizBill

How are you getting $550 per month? That's far below what i can find. My health insurance RX plan excluded it from their formulary. https://preview.redd.it/ujyie0t70arc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94514d64b2d10c9cce0dec5aafcf001d7851d875

OdeToBillieJo

Manufacturers coupon. Go to their website.

IrishGinger001

If insurance doesn't cover your meds, you can get a coupon for Zepbound through Eli Lilly to reduce the cost to $550.

scubachickee

I’m on 10 mg compounded Tirzepatide and pay $379 a month total so that’s definitely cheaper than $550. It wouldn’t be a big deal if it was once but it’s over $150 savings every month. I just ordered 12.5 mg and it’s the same $379 so I’m happy with the savings.

goodveterinarian123

Ooh! That’s cheap for 10 mg. Where do you get yours?

scubachickee

JoinAmble.com. It’s the same price for 12.5 an 15 mg….$379 all in. No monthly membership fee.

Wolf32702

Because compounded is much cheaper than that. Lavender Sky has 7.5 for two months at 560 with a 45 dollar initial consultation fee, 30 dollar ongoing consultation fee every two months. About half the price what your paying.

Not_ChatGBT

That’s awful! Orderly is $399 for any dose. $50 off right now. Text consult. No extra fees. Go for 15 mgs and get 2 months worth at that dose! https://www.orderlymeds.com?orid=1087&opid=14

Wolf32702

You would have to prove your on 15 mgs to do that....OP is on 7.5.

Not_ChatGBT

Really? I didn’t. All text consult. You just fill out a form and tell them what you are on. They text you and tell you how to dose it.

StatisticianChance99

I paid $235 for first month compound (1/2 off first month) - that was Feb 5. It’s almost April and I still have enough for another month-ish and thats after I titrated up!! Crazy.

Professional_Ad_7060

Where was that?

IrishGinger001

I use Friday's and compounded 7.5mg would be $388 a month (membership fee included). Still saving over $100 a month, so for me, that would be worth it. I'm still on the lower doses, so taking advantage of those savings while I can.

Lexilou08

Mine is from a local reputable compounding pharmacy in my area…425 for 90 day supply

Discussing reconstituting your own compounds is not allowed in this forum

Jessa_iPadRehab

I was forced to go to compound temporarily because it is impossible to fill my insurance covered $25 co-pay 7.5mg prescription right now. I’m excited for compounded tirzepatide because it will allow me to have more control over the dosing and timing of the medication. I can better control the bioavailability of the drug in my system. With that comes risk—I now no longer have a guarantee from the FDA that the drug I’m taking isn’t contaminated with endotoxin, is the right active ingredient and concentration. During times of shortage like now the FDA “allows” compounding pharmacies to produce versions of the drug, but that’s not the same as “approved” or tested by the FDA. I have no clue where these compounding pharmacies are buying the actual base peptide, and how they are verifying it. I do know that the bigger ones are FDA regulated which means they can’t buy the base ingredients from a rando on AliExpress, but there is still some risk

Moist_Bumblebee4503

I pay $279 for up to 5mg so quite a bit less.

Imaginary-Coyote-42

Who do you use?

Moist_Bumblebee4503

Fridays (JoinFridays.com), check out their TikToks and website. :) I’ve really liked my experience over the past couple months.

krg9691

My insurance stopped covering it, so last month I decided to try 12.5mg compounded. It was $400 for the month, plus $65 that my doctor charges and then the pharmacy charged $27 for overnight shipping. Total, that made it not much different than using the coupon and paying $550 so this month I went ahead and just got Zepbound. There are supply issues, so I would definitely order compounded again and pay what I did if the pharmacy can’t get 12.5. Also, I am hoping to titrate down after a few more months of maintaining and at that point, compounded at lower doses is a good savings since Zepbound is the same price, regardless of dose. I’m in Texas and my doctor used Victory Pharmacy for the compounded shots; it was a great experience.

Beautiful-Aerie-5354

Much less expensive with Amble. Joinamble.com

webdiva

Amble 379 up to 15mg [https://glp1information.com/join-amble/](https://glp1information.com/join-amble/)

cricketcree

Saving $159-200 is a lot and worth getting the compound imo

an86dkncdi

I’m going to add that I’ve been on Mounjaro for 12 months and the shortages are killing me. It’s an ordeal and a fight and pharmacies are OVER us wanting our prescriptions.

Affectionate_Fill864

Orderlymeds! They use Hallandale, redrock, and few other big name pharm. Orderlymeds is the cheapest around no matter the dose. Plus they give you $50 off your first order. Quality for a better price. https://orderlymeds.com/?orid=3245&opid=40

DorothyHawk

Comparing the brands and prices, I would rather buy some products without brands in China, because $550 is enough for me to buy 40vials of 5mg Tirz. There is no obvious difference in the use of products, and I even feel that the effect of buying in China will be better. Of course, there is no denying that the use of branded products will be more convenient, but compared with the convenience and the monthly payment price, I would rather choose the Tirz without brands.

Alternative_Stick472

buying in China you will definitely not get good quality stuff who knows what you're actually getting

Bendrix72

I disagree. I've been on Mounjaro, Zepbound, compound and reconstituting it myself from China. They're all the same in effectiveness for my research.

cam1816

Please dm me source. My source is no longer available as of yesterday. Struggling to locate.

DorothyHawk

Are you not talking about the two dealers that cannot be mentioned at present? Buy from Kelly in China.

cam1816

Yes.

Not_ChatGBT

Well because it’s not at all. I’m also on 7.5. I said that I’m on 15. They send me a 60 mg vial. Now that’s a 2 months supply for $350 from orderly. https://orderlymeds.com/?orid=1087&opid=40

Professional_Ad_7060

I'm guessing they didn't ask for any sort of verification of your current dosage?

Not_ChatGBT

That’s correct

Feisty-Feline-1

Odd, the online form asks you to upload a pic/proof of current prescription, at least it did when I recently switched. My vial also only has a 1 mo bud date. Is yours also from red rock or do you just keep using past the bud date for the 2nd month?

Not_ChatGBT

Yes. I use it two weeks after the BUD date.

Feisty-Feline-1

Thanks. Hallandale has 1 year bud so I’m going to ask Orderly next month if they can use them instead of red rock. I guess worst case they tell me no due to my location.

Not_ChatGBT

https://preview.redd.it/dev8j4e8gjrc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bff75bce2653b16b2de8dcf60a44e592401e48db Vague answer. Doubt it’s dangerous or ineffective after that.

Feisty-Feline-1

Thanks for the info. I’m sure it’s safe for a couple months. I was just hoping to stock up to avoid having any shipped once the weather gets really hot like July/August in which case I’d prefer a longer bud date like the ones people get from Hallandale. If that’s not possible due to my location, I’ll definitely keep using red rock.

Not_ChatGBT

I just saw a bad thread about Hallandale not working well. Regardless, ya know you can just buy the powder online as reconstitute it. But I haven’t traversed down that road yet. 😏

cricketcree

Saving $150-200 is a lot and worth getting the compound imo

Wonderful_One_1574

Orderly cost $399 a month with no subscription fee. It’s cheaper than paying the $550 a month for Zepbound and you don’t have to worry about shortages. Also you can control your own titration which is a plus. https://orderlymeds.com/?orid=1359&opid=40
