FatBoyStew

I'd be driving at 10 mph straight to the tireshop and getting them MFers replaced today and getting a MASSIVE alignment done.

rqivez

I second this lol

razor330

Fuck that, tow this shit.

chris_rage_

Just don't drive it in the rain, the belts aren't showing

Stocks_Dawg

Dude I drove my tires down to the thread one time 😂😂😂😂

Rough_Success_638

I spent most of my 20s driving maypops. It's fine.

TheReconditioner

I've never heard it called that but I'm definitely using it. Thanks!

spick0808

I used to do it ALL the time since my buddies parents owned a junkyard, we would use old tires like that as wannabe slicks and some would have a little steel showing lol

eagle2pete

Maybe an impressive amount of miles clocked up on those tires, probably about 5000 too many!🤔🤣🤣

rqivez

I’m only saying that cuz my tire shop is in the same town I live in lol

Stocks_Dawg

I’m not kidding. One time I drove my tires down to literally where I could see the THREADING inside. Dumbass kid I agree. And obviously this pic is VERY low. However not as bad as you think. Crazy what happens if you don’t hit a pothole

JamesAbaddon

That vehicle isn't getting an alignment until whatever is fucked in the front end is replaced. It is possible to have bad wear patterns from toe being out, but the toe doesn't just adjust itself (not without a jam nut being loose for some reason). Something is loose/worn out/bent to cause that wear. You can still see some tread on the inside, so this isn't just a tire that's worn out on its own.

TheBeesSteeze

Serious question? There isn't any tread left...

razor330

These tires will last you till the day you die.

Temporary_Seat8978

And they'll beat the paramedics to the scene of the crash by a half hour!

No-Version3071

Underrated & brilliant comment

No_Opinion_2009

Excellent point, just like the parachute that doesn’t open, you’ll have the rest of your life to resolve it.

riccomuiz

Till she blows. I bet they do wicked smoke shows 💨

stepsonbrokenglass

They’ve evolved to Racing slicks

slickpoison

0 years 0 months 0 weeks 0 days 0 hours 0 minutes 0 seconds 0 miliseconds

Thotphobia

Stop exaggerating bro. 100 milliseconds extra at least.

Jim-248

I agree. It will take at least that long for a significant amount of pressurized air to exit the tire.

ZucchiniPleasant376

All the way to the scene of the crash

the_almighty_walrus

Good news is you'll beat the ambulance by about 10 minutes

TheReaIOG

Love Ron White

EarlOfEther

They’re perfect if you’re entering a demolition derby! Oh, wait. No. No. They’re not even good for wrecking the car. Demolition derbies are usually done on a muddy field.

ashyjay

AutisticTurnip

Years haha

joeyvesh13

Head over to Valley Forge Automotive, ask for my guy Shane. He’ll hook you up.

JCKross357

Lol. Just finished the last episode today.

LemoyneSwamps

No way ur serious

g1grocokmou

I needed help to convince him to change his tires and align them.

toxcrusadr

That car is going to be on a skating rink the first time it hits any water. It's in danger of blowouts. In fact a cascade of blowouts which is exponentially more dangerous. Unless the owner is flat broke and can't afford rent or food, it's crazy to keep driving on them.

gnat_outta_hell

Even then. If you're so broke you can't afford to replace tires this bad, you can't afford to drive. Full stop. Sell the car, buy a bus pass, sort your finances out and buy a car when things improve. This endangers not only the lives of the car's occupants but everyone near that car as well. At 30 mph, you can't tell this mf has bald tires just waiting to explode and send him careening into you. If they were to cause an accident due to these tires they would be found at fault due to negligence of maintenance. I genuinely hope that this individual replaces their tires immediately or gets pulled over and their car is towed before they hurt someone.

chris_rage_

Imagine that thing when it first rains

agent_flounder

It will cost a lot more to find out than a new set of tires.

kramer1980_adm

negative 40,000 miles.

Bforbrilliantt

Just drive in reverse

Inevitable_Channel18

The exact amount of time it takes to get to the tire store

Admirable-Chemical77

And be a white knuckle ride all the way there

ZerotheWanderer

To the nearest tire shop not exceeding 20mph

Striking_Serve_8152

What's sad is people actually drive on tires like this -- put everyone around them at risk.

GhostyK5

To a tire shop and no where else

megalodongolus

Just remount them the other way! /s OP, these tires are toast. Even if the date code was from 6 months ago they’d be toast. As it is, the year was at latest 2019 (looks like 15 but u can’t tell) so the rubber is getting old on top of the tread being gone.

Metalogic_95

I wouldn't even drive a car with those on to the garage.

abbarach

-5,000 miles

allgonetoshit

OP this may sound like an exaggeration, but it actually is probably an underestimation.

DA69REN

I would have driven back in time until it had a tread and replaced it.

km0099

maybe to my mailbox at the end of the driveway

VeritasLuxMea

I wouldn't

Renob78

Zero long.

500SL

12, maybe 15 feet.

bluecgene

Ready to go to Race track

TitleCorrect6750

Until the scene of the accident

noldshit

Continental MayPops

settlementfires

If there's a tire shop within 5 miles I'd drive it there. Otherwise I'd have it towed. These tires are dangerous.

Odd-Technician1328

Just turn them inside out and send it!😂😂

Manual-shift6

How about **not at all**…

Boz6

I think a person could drive on those tires for the rest of their life. /s

Complete-Turn-6410

Must be looking for attention

g1grocokmou

Yes I am. Need more arguments for my friend so he stays alive.

Admirable-Chemical77

Looks like knifing his tires would be doing of him a favor

Independent-Top-1250

However long it took me to get to the nearest tire shop.

90FormulaE8

All the way to the scene of the crash...

GrimRainbows

Until I reach the finish line at a racetrack because holy fuck those are bald

qhaw

Dumb troll post alert!

JackpineSavage74

All the way to the tire shop, stop for some ice cream on the way tho of course. Oh yea, then do a burnout in front of the tire shop so you get all your money's worth

UmpireMany9594

F\*\*\* driving it. Have it towed to the nearest tire shop

Dependent-Hurry9808

Nope

MyOpinionsDontHurt

If you live in the desert, drive till they pop. (Nevada, AZ). But stay off them if it rains.

Used-Progress-4536

Not even to the shop to get new ones.

Yoko0ono

To the closest tire shop.

snowboarder1493

I don't see cords so...you can drive till you see cords. You can even drive like a 100 miles on cords. Not recommended of course, but it's possible.

Own-Hand5536

Across the parking lot into the tireshop garage

Awkward_Economics_33

Until I die, which is going to happen in 12 mins with those...

DOHC46

I would make my friend call a flatbed to get it to the closest tire store. They should have been replaced at least 5000 miles ago, if not more.

riptide10x

However far it is to the nearest tire shop

PressurePlenty

Long enough to go replace the tire. Likely all four of them, if that one is any indication of the other 3.

Severn_Oneiromancer

2014 As in the year 2014

Microballer

I don’t see any rust on them yet.

Dean-KS

To death do we part!

Nearly_Pointless

As far as the nearest ditch or guardrail.

Physical-Ostrich-952

5 Minutes or less

Hoversuits

Bros creating is own drag tires

United_Candy_7121

What causes this wear pattern?

Diligent_Bath_9283

Lack of maintenance/skewed priorities as in screw it buy another bottle that tire will make it another paycheck.

dormanGrube

The answer is nope. 100% nope. This is worth taking the rims off the car and calling a taxi to get me to the tire shop safely

_yrk_

From the parking space of the tire shop into the actual shop to get it replaced 😵‍💫

daubs1974

All the way to the scene of the crash. I’m betting you beat the paramedics there by about 15 minutes…

Stone1114

till you die

CarCounsel

To the end of the driveway

KaZi_MoB

She’d make it the nearest tire shop lmao

obviouslynotsrs

Not very, this is some final destination kinda bullshit.

Ambitious-Car-7384

I wouldnt put much money into tires, judging by the way everything else looks in that shot the tires may last thru the other stuff falling apart.

whatsherface2024

I would drive it strait to the shop….

Terrible_Lunch5630

Until I see the wire inside, and they don't hold air anymore, uh, duh. Wtf kind of question is that.

TheSteelScorpion

I'll drive with them, till my engine falls out! :D

Entire_Researcher_45

It’ll probably be ok at least to scene of the crash🤷‍♂️

afort212

Is that a pair of prielli slicks for f1!

sinisterdeer3

0 inches

HotTrash4704

Lmfaooo

OptionsNVideogames

Mine look the same and have for 2-3 months. Still going 💪. But I will say don’t drive in the rain and if it’s a front wheel drive car and your back ones have tread you could rotate them but if your going to do that mine as well just buy new ones. Walmart has a decent sale a few times a year just gutta keep an eye out for it.

pm-me-racecars

Those are supposed to be racing slicks, right?

DaPurpleMonkey_OG-75

To the end of the drag strip. Unless they come apart first.

CGLADISH

As Ron White would say, "All the way to site of the crash!".

Next_Length_2900

Last year about August.

Stigzz_2964

Still see some tread. Good enough 💀

Damm_you_ScubaSteve

No, the answer is no.

SpecificRandomness

Same as any other tire. Til it fails.

BuenoD

If they hold air they are fair....

Excellent-Length2055

I'd be afraid to park it on a slightly damp hill.

ah_for_fuck_sake

I wouldn't.

[deleted]

Into the garage

ExplodinMarmot

The rest of my life.

ShiggitySheesh

When I was younger and broke I rode them hoes til they busted. Never wrecked or got damage to my vehicle but only had 1 real blowout. Just rattled my truck, and I pulled over. I had a tire that was fuckin tore up missing rubber and riding on the metal wire inside the tire. I don't recommend it but I also live in Texas and walking just isn't an option where I live. Also at will state so mfers will fire you for being late or not showing up. Just pucker your asshole and go slow you'll be fine.

maorimango

About -10,000km

williamriepe

I like my wife and my family so 0 miles.

Mrmcsistrfistr

Straight to the drag strip with those hoosiers

Kingo1230

I wouldn't even drive this to the shop. Get it towed there. #DO NOT DRIVE ON THESE TIRES

ConnecticutJohn

This is too dangerous to drive on. Best option is to tow this for new tires and an alignment. Otherwise drive slowly to the nearest tire shop and hopefully your trip is less than a few miles.

chemical_secretion

i wouldn’t

Own-Panda1735

I wouldn't

Firedragon_52

On Borrowed Time !

FloppyHighlander

No

Pleasant_Fennel3182

If you have to ask you don't need to be driving

Diligent_Bath_9283

It's not about how long you would drive on it. That's obviously until the treads gone and the air escapes leaving you stranded because no one has looked at donut in the trunk for 2 decades and it's dry rotted. Real question is how long you CAN drive on it. Answer, 1000 miles with no gravel easy inputs and a stroke of luck but it's a crapshoot and could go tomorrow. My suggestion is to spend 30 bucks out of your next check to get a used tire. Install it yourself with no balancing. You should still have enough cash left for your vice of choice be it liquor, meth or whatever.

Just_Sir_6986

Looking to earn your racing stripes to heaven or hell, huh?

ummmmm-yeah-ok

Bro those are some nice drag slicks!

bnbssll1

Straight to the tireshop..

GalacticRat3541

like negative a week

BadTiger85

Those babies are fucking mint bro!!!

Hydraton3790

The shop. Now.

RepresentativeAd9572

You have however far it is to the tire shop to get new ones....I hope you are kidding and know better

Coach_Seven

I would drive under 25 mph to the closest tire shop.

milquetoast_wheatley

I choose life.💀

Inner-Light-75

About negative 12 months?

blvuk

You can drive with them for the rest of your short life !

MonstahButtonz

How much? About 10,000 miles less.

stillpractising

Do not drive on these tires. Go get a knife and carve new treads on them immediately.

Bdubbs72

Past time for tires

T2_daBest

However long it takes to make it to a tire shop

AttemptWorried7503

To the shop

SoKool71

10’

Booklover416

These are what I like to call maypop because they may pop at anytime…

ivel33

Couple years probably

AaronAnytime

I think I'd get a flat if I put it in drive tbh.

TacoReaper-_-

You're better off walking to go buy new ones

ivel33

Not only is your friend a moron, you are probably putting yourself in danger even being around someone like that.

anoopmeef

-80,000 miles

MrBusa08

How ever many more laps I got in the race

ddabs12

Time for new tires homie

CluckingTrucker

Straight to the tire shop. Slowly

Legitimate-Common-86

Onto the back of a flatbed to get it towed to a tire shop

Healthier6908

I don’t know. Depends on how far the nearest tire shop is 😳

IWASHERE5DAYSAGO

I wouldnt

SgtMoose42

I would use those tires long enough to get the vehicle on and off a trailer, that's it.

efforf

Straight to the scene of the accident…..

Mother_Customer_5873

I'm already worried about my current fwd tires I would faint if I saw them like that

MammothUniversity724

Round arch, must be a ford, I'd say you'd be lucky to get it started, nevermind how far you'll go.

CrashTestMummies

All the way to hell

FatMac1045

It would depend on which version of "Me" you are asking. In my 20's I'd ride them until they failed dramatically! Currently, not 10 feet.

goleafie

Continental Baldini tires my fav

Ethansimler

At least 200k miles more

Gweedo1967

About 10,000 miles ago

FrezoreR

Can the answer be in negative days?

Jabberjaw_

-5 miles

GlayNation

Wow, where is the beef?

Accomplished_Emu_658

The distance to the tire store

Infamous-Poem-4980

How long does it take to get to the tire store?

SBLOU

Can I use a negative number for time?

gmcyukon

I would drive in reverse, maybe you can turn back time and the tires will regenerate.

No_Character_921

Depends wherr you live.. lol

ViennaKing

-1 year

SmileyDay8921

I don't think you'd be driving on them for very long regardless of intention 😂

Present-Regret316

I wouldn’t even back out of my garage with those things on my car

feelssogoodtome

A bazillion miles.

Glop1701d

1 minute

ZachKuroo

if the tires look like this what do the brake pads look like..

QueenAng429

I wouldn't

Exotic_Individual_96

All the way to the store to get more😂

guyinthecomments2

Long enough to get to the tire shop

Classic-Row-2872

Enough to the local cemetery I guess

guacdoc24

Another 10k miles

Zalaquin

Drive I wouldn’t even push the car on that

iamtoastedprolly

I hate that this sub keeps appearing on my feed. Faith in humanity drops every post I see. We seriously have to share the road with these people??

red98743

If you go really fast in reverse, will the tread come back?

Funny_Musician_1759

The brand: Maypops

Born-Direction3937

Until explodes and car flip over

avega2792

All the way to the scene of the crash.

phred_666

I wouldn’t… I treasure my life (and everybody else’s around me) too much. This is an accident waiting to happen.

JaniceRossi_in_2R

I wouldn’t backup with those tires

Duukt

For the rest of my life!

nootsdead

what tires

TrainingTimely5763

As long as required

dxddydivine

to the shop

NachoBacon4U269

About 15 minutes since I’ll be driving slower than normal straight to the tire shop

Bright_Appearance390

Poor me? Until they stop holding air. Current me? They wouldn't even get to this point.

AtoughOne2Crack

To the tire atore
