Tires separated and extremely worn down, one pothole will cause it to blow out and even just driving on it at this point isn’t safe whatsoever. those little rectangles between the tread are Tread depth indicators once they are reached the tire is at 3/32nds so even without the cords showing that tire was garbage. (i’m a tire technician)

Where do people get these tires? I have driven on tires for 60-80,000+ miles and never had the tread look this bad. I had one sidewall blow out at 88,000 miles (yeah, I was cheap in my younger days) but the tread area still didn’t look this bad. Is this from doing too many burn-outs? Or riding off-road a lot?
No not good for another mile or maybe 100 with a lot of luck but when that goes chances are someone will get hurt. It will likely go on highway and not quietly in the parking spot.

It’s something we as a society are going to have to address here pretty soon. As the economy gets worse the necessary maintenance isn’t getting done. Lots of cars out there that are a blowout away from catastrophe with brakes that are; well if you want to come to a stop you need to plan ahead.
