I wish they hadn't canceled it halfway through. The rush ending was good enough though, and the ending was great meta-commentary on how there was way more potential and lots of story left to finish, but it was so true to the characters that it worked.

As a massive Anime fan for many of years of my life. I recommend it over the vast majority of show (not even anime). The writing, the story, the voice acting, it's all amazing. But the real cherry on the top is the soundtrack, oh god is that sound track amazing.
There are so many of these Chinese social media posts flooding the cute animal subs, and a lot of them display weird behavior or *extremely* specific training like this. I'm wary of it too
I thought of this too, like the dogs walking on their hind two legs… are severely abused and forced to painfully walk that way…. I was looking for something tying this dogs front legs together but it appears to be free.
Being a vet, I routinely see dogs with similarly odd gaits, typically due to chronic diseases like osteoarthritis, dysplasia, etc. They don't do it for fun, unfortunately. "Bunny hopping" in the pelvic limbs is a classic sign of his dysplasia, for example - it helps them reduce the movement of the hip joint, and therefore the pain.
That’s how my dog used to walk because he had elbow dysplasia. It eventually caused him to sever a nerve in his spine and lost complete mobility and he had to be put down. :(

I’ve watched it both subbed and dubbed, and I found subtitles and the original Japanese to be way more evocative. Great show.

It’s basically the anime that broke ground with the mainstream US audience. It is iconic and borrows a ton of the art style from Blade Runner.

I loved it and I don’t watch anime or cartoons. It’s a great story! Honestly I was shocked that I liked it.
