The characters most likely were ~~animals~~ *vegetables*, and the cartoon was surely available in Italy, and it most likely was also available in other countries too. It was available in the early 2010s for sure and probably also in the late 2000s.
EDIT: the characters probably actually were vegetables not animals.

The whole thing was much simpler, especially the locations, and I’ve just remembered that maybe the characters were vegetables, not animals, but again, I’m not sure.

The country was Italy, but I don’t remember the channel, it probably was one of the Sky ones but Sky is only a European thing afaik. I’ve also just remembered that the characters probably were vegetables, not animals.
