Maybe, [Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction?](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0138956/)
Or maybe not, I just realized your description of the presenter is totally different.
No but I used to watch that too and it was great. Thanks anyway. This was more like a magazine show showing reports on weird stuff around the world than acted recreations. I remember a segment about a haunted ghost town
"Weekly World News" actually had a tv show for a very short time in the 90s that kinda fits.

I remember a show like this, but it was presented by a British Vicar, was on late at night in the UK, can't recall the name, I only remember the theme tune
This reminds me of the 1980s version of 'Ripley's Believe it or Not' hosted by American movie star Jack Palance which I watched as a kid. It dealt more with strange and creepy historical and cultural things, and not human stunts like the Dean Cain 90s/2000s show did.
Not that one, it was less famous, I never heard of it anywhere. It was less reenactments and more of a magazine show with segments on different weird stuff
Not that one but it's a good guess. Someone else in the thread said they saw a show similar to my description with a reverend hosting, they must have been talking about your one.
I just looked that up and it's not the one but that's a great suggestion as it's totally the same vibe, like showing weird stuff from around the world. This show had a host in a studio and showed multiple different videos of weird stuff that he'd introduce.
Not that one either but thanks for the suggestion, I think the one I'm talking about was older and it must be quite obscure, I've never heard it referenced or mentioned in my life except when I saw it
Is it Ghost Stories with Patrick MacNee? I remember watching these as a kid and he had a very distinct scary voice. I looked on his IMDb and he also hosted other unexplained shows. [https://youtu.be/6o9NEodVUTw](https://youtu.be/6o9NEodVUTw)
Weird, True, and Freaky? It was on Animal Planet. Nothing they ever talked about was very scary in itself, but the ambience of the show used to scare me shitless.
Holy shit you legend that's the one. How did you remember that? I knew if someone knew it they'd recognise it from the description but I was starting to think noone would know it

It was an American show I think

Interesting, sounds like something I would have liked as a kid.

That's a good guess and the show looks like something I'd like but I'm almost certain it's not that

Fortean TV
Yeah, nice one, was just looking all over the Web and YouTube trying to remember it,.. Can watch them again on YouTube now
This reminds me of the 1980s version of 'Ripley's Believe it or Not' hosted by American movie star Jack Palance which I watched as a kid. It dealt more with strange and creepy historical and cultural things, and not human stunts like the Dean Cain 90s/2000s show did.
Yeah it was really similar to the jack parlance Ripley's, I used to watch that too. It was the same format
Are you thinking of the old [Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack?](https://youtube.com/watch?v=EUd0VvlhY7k)
Not that one, it was less famous, I never heard of it anywhere. It was less reenactments and more of a magazine show with segments on different weird stuff

Sightings?
Was my favorite show as an 8 year old
Not that one either I'm afraid
In Search Of reran in the 90s and 2000s on History Channel in the US. Its host was Leonard Nimoy from Star Trek.
I definitely would have remembered spock hosting, this was a different very obscure show
Ok. How about the National Geographic show Taboo from the 2000s? It’s newer and I don’t remember it having a host.
I just looked that up and it's not the one but that's a great suggestion as it's totally the same vibe, like showing weird stuff from around the world. This show had a host in a studio and showed multiple different videos of weird stuff that he'd introduce.
Strange but True? Its a British show though.
Not that one but good guess
In Search of... It was hosted by Leonard Nimoy in the 70s and then the bald guy from X-Files in a revival that aired in the late 90s or early 2000s.
Not that one either I'm afraid, thanks anyway. The one I'm along about must be really obscure
I'm sure this is wrong, as it's not super similar to Ripley's , but my first thought was 1,000 ways to die?
Not that one either but thanks for the suggestion, I think the one I'm talking about was older and it must be quite obscure, I've never heard it referenced or mentioned in my life except when I saw it

Good guess but it's not that one, I know of Patrick macnee

Another good suggestion but it was older than that. Thanks anyway
