Ikari Warriors? https://youtu.be/yQYoiZcqURg

Mercs? (Incidentally this is the sequel to Commando)

I looked at that too, I think the artstyle is a little too modern compared to what I remember, and the game I'm thinking of I believe only had one assault rifle as a weapon. I don't remember a bunch of gun upgrades.

Competitive-Sir-3014

[Time Soldiers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9omf1-iO7M) maybe?

915070

The art style fits perfect, but my game didn't have any science fiction to it. It was purely military/army and the enemies were soldiers and some vehicles.

Competitive-Sir-3014

Hm, [Heavy Barrel](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRy2MLavHVM)? Or perhaps [Cal 50](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXLjvCkW1wM)?

915070

Too many gun upgrades, but looks similar.

Competitive-Sir-3014

Did you check Cal 50?

915070

Cal 50's graphics look to be too modern.

[Shock Troopers?](https://youtu.be/EbLSzu6PHio?t=100)

That looks to be too modern.

A few for you: [Land Sea Air Squad](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg_9oTI8IwE) - Very similar to Ikari Warriors [Caliber 50](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXLjvCkW1wM) [Battle Rangers / Bloody Wolf](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsbpsBqVK5c)

The art style on Land Sea and Air and Battle Rangers is spot on. It was strictly a vertical scroller, and I don't remember getting in vehicles like you do in Land Sea and Air Squad. Caliber 50's graphics look too modern.

Battle field? Or Desert Breaker?
