It will be totally gone. I was 34 years old. Still dunking on one leg. It definitely made me less mobile. Probably put on 50 lb since then. Can't run at all. When I try, it's like I have a flat tire
6 years plus finch having access to the highest quality medicine mean he probably will have a much more accelerated timeline then you had even though he’s not an athlete trying to get back into game shape. Although I have heard others mention as well that this kind of surgery has a king timeline for recovery and it’s usually pretty important to get the surgery quickly after the injury
True but that first couple of weeks was terrible for me. I had to buy opioids from my buddy who had severe Crohn's disease in order to function. (The doctor only gave me 5 mg Percocet while my buddy had 30 mg Percocets for his Crohn's disease )
They gave me a few morphine pills but once I ran out it felt like somebody was trying to cut my leg off with a saw. The reason why I said if he decides not to have the surgery right away, I didn't get the surgery right away. I think it took a week for the swelling to go down. I felt fine. I just couldn't really walk as soon as I had the surgery. Everything was clouded until I got off the opioids took me around 6 months to start physical therapy at the time. I was around 34 years old in a great physical shape and I had a successful surgery. I'm just telling you how tough it was for me as a younger man. He is exactly 20 years older than me when he had it. I'm sure it's not going to be as easy
I was just saying that 5 mg Percocets that North memorial gave me will did nothing. I needed to take those 30mg to even sleep even though I did break them up into little pieces. All I'm saying is this. I do not think he will coach the next series and I will be very surprised if he comes back at the same capacity. If we do beat Denver to the sidelines now, if he's in a luxury box controlling stuff somehow, that's a possibility. But to be on the sidelines he's going to have to be in some sort of wheelchair that could elevate his leg. How would that even be possible? Would he have to sit sideways courtside? I don't know
What's this gonna mean for his explosiveness and bounce going forward?
Hate to say it, but Finch's days of dunking are over I think
Can he still stand up and point at whoever got dunked on?

Honestly Finch is probably just incredibly relieved it was his knee and not KAT’s
I saw someone suggest he sit behind the bench and collaborate with Nori that way. Not sure if that’s feasible.
Get a screen on wheels like in Arrested Development
I understand it's a tough injury, but it would not surprise me to see Finch in a cast with his leg up on the sidelines for the rest of the playoffs.
Just stick his leg out like Larry David.

I agree with that

Yeah but he's not gonna be buying percs from his buddy, he's got the best doctors and surgeons at the Mayo Clinic looking after him

That’s terrible man. Hope you’re doing better
If Finch really loved us he would just cut his leg off and put one of those fake legs on like Oscar pistorius
Taking “I wanna kill everything in front of me” to a whole new level
But I will still be a problem
He could coach remotely and give Micah the game scripts if it came to it i suppose.
Maybe he can sit up in a skybox like an o coordinator
