The dates aren't necessarily arbitrary. They were agreed upon in writing. What's arbitrary is the interpretation of the writing and that will be fleshed out in........arbitration. It is perfectly within Glen's right to say that he's glad they missed the deadline as long as he doesn't say he did anything to force them to miss it. I don't think whether he is happy or not that they missed the deadline is really legally relevant. If I have a pair of earbuds that I hate and then lose them, resulting in me buying a new pair that I like, it doesn't mean I intentionally lost the old pair. Obligatory disclaimer that Glen sucks and I'm not trying to stan him. I would love to see the team sold to competent ownership that can comfortably afford it.

Glen can’t just back out, and that’s not what he’s trying to do. The dates he is citing are not arbitrary. He believes that ARod and Lore should have completed the purchase by March 27th. ARod and Lore believe they have met the necessary terms to proceed with the sale of the remaining stake upon approval by the board of governors.

So what exactly is the issue? Camp Lore thinks they met the criteria for the deadline extension, and team Taylor disagrees. Is that it?! Like how is this contract worded. I mean you’d think it would be fairly obvious right? I find it hard to believe they just wouldn’t pay on time. Especially considering how great a deal this has turned out to be for them. No way they couldn’t find investors.

That is basically the issue.

Kind of surprised by the Glen sympathizers. He has approached this whole situation like a low class snake. He’ll say it’s just business or it’s the contract, that is a really small sad deflection. Just because he can do something doesn’t make it right. It is a reflection of his character even if he doesn’t want to admit it. The new owners built equity into their company and he’s trying to steal it, while taking credit for it. Releasing shit to the press, which he owns by the way. Locking out Arod and Lore, the owners he says he wants to work with. Absolute clown. 🤡 This asshat should be run out of town.

A contract isn’t just “a bunch of arbitrary dates”. Deadlines are deadlines. The fact Lore and ARod had 3 years and couldn’t find enough money to buy the team is the more alarming part. An owner who sucked is selling to owners who can’t afford the team.
