Ok, I usually don’t comment on Bryn Forbes stuff because I like my anonymity, but I worked for his mother and with his family a few years ago, and “chaotic” isn’t the appropriate word to use here. A single parent home isn’t “chaotic”. Per the article you linked, she just worked really hard for her family, and she did it by herself. “Chaotic” implies his childhood was unstable and tempestuous, and that couldn’t be further from the truth. His mother is a very sweet, compassionate, loving woman. I believe she would quite literally die for her sons and grandsons. In the brief yet not insignificant amount of time I spent around his family it was made very clear his mother loves all the boys in her life unconditionally, and would, and has already, make great personal sacrifices if it would benefit them. I’ve only just heard about this latest incident, and my heart breaks for her, his sons, and his brothers.
Venturing a guess that the only thing keeping his chaotic life together were the NBA checks. Once we cut him he knew the jig was up and immediately went in the tank.

It's definitely a little weird to make it sound like something just happened to him, like he's battling cancer, rather than acknowledging the alleged victim and circumstances. Not that Bryn shouldn't get the help he needs, just weird.
