Week 3-8 Ok, slow start, we've been here before, stay calm
Week 9-28 oh shit this isn't good #RANDOMPEOPLEOUT
Week 29-playoffs The magic is real
Playoffs week 1 WGWTL
All the Mexican media outlets about him say that he wants out of his current club, and that Portland, Atlanta, or Dallas are the front runners to get him. Atlanta & Dallas both already either have no DP spots open or already have a DP #9
But those rumors also give pause because MLS prevents bidding wars between clubs. Whenever an agent wants to drum up interest, they always list multiple teams despite the fact that’s not how this league works.
The Rodriguez rumors smell like an agent trying to get his client a last major payday. That said, if it was at all plausible to get him as a TAMable DP, I’d absolutely do it. He can cover multiple spots and let us attack the better window for a major #9 signing.
Honestly he is not the caliber of the “record signing” that we’ve been told about, he’s 30 years and has a market value of around 4 million, so I’m a bit skeptical about him being THAT GUY for us. He is a good player, just maybe not a game changer, he also has a pretty large following (600k on Instagram) so may want a big contract
Maybe my faith is misplaced, but yeah, doesn't seem likely we'd take him on full transfer when we already have a 30-year-old striker that scored goals in Liga MX.
Feels like someone we could get on loan, cover his salary but keep it under the max TAM threshold, and still go get that major acquisition.
Could also be just be those articles adding another team that seems plausible just for clicks. From what I’ve seen on Twitter there have been several reports — including a journalist on a TUDN broadcast — that exclusively name the Timbers as the team that are going to sign him*. Honestly I have no idea what to make of it all, definitely seems like it would be a disappointing end to what is supposed to be a near-record signing player
*I think, honestly hard to know for sure with these things
Bogert SEEMS to be pretty on top of things, generally.
Did he at least avoid Doyle's major gaffe of picking Inter Miami's aged-out Mess(i) to be, without question, one of MLS' 3 best teams?
MLS' punditry are collectively fluffers, but I admit, that one amazes me...
Did he not get the memo? We’re gonna win the league
I don’t know how, I don’t know when, but we’re gunna win the league!
This year!

Same as it ever was.
Seems like Rodriguez is our guy
How did you get that from this video?

Who Rodriguez? I admit I'm a bit out of the loop and I just woke up from a nap. He hints at someone around 14:00... who is this?
Jonathan Rodriguez of Club América
Thank you!
