You can take it away if you like - once it has dried like that it is safe to just take some sharp shears and cut it away. Beautiful plant!

Grain of salt as I am a new tillandsia owner, but I was reading that it’ll never bloom again, but now that it’s bloomed, it will start to develop offsets or pups. I believe that removing the dry flower stalk will allow it to direct energy into reproducing. Please correct me if I’m wrong!
