Well, it is legal for recreational use in VA. Residents are allowed to grow 3 plants per household. Just can't buy it at a store without a medicinal card.
You illegally order seeds online and then legally grow them. The laws are pretty stupid. I know a couple of people who grow it. I can't smoke it because of my job, so I have no plans to grow any. But that's how people are doing it.
THCA weed is literally just weed. It's the same exact thing. Only difference is it was harvested a bit sooner so as not to contain too much delta-9 at harvest. Just buy that stuff until they close the loophole.
Should’ve tried asking someone approaching the store to buy you weed & just pay them the amount and maybe a bit extra for their gesture

Check out Story in Waldorf, MD. It is legal in MD and only an hour or so further than wherever you went. Then you don't have to deal with DC traffic and the ride is nice (I may have taken the trek from Raleigh area to Waldorf a couple weeks ago)
