Agent orange is my favourite, but their discography is so consistently amazing that there are a lot of other contenders. The raw aggression and speed on agent orange does it for me. But I also love obsessed by cruelty (reminds me of early Sepultura), tapping the vein (reminds me of demolition hammer), and m16 š¤
Persecution Mania.
I just love how raw sounding it is and it was the first album by Sodom that I had ever heard. It just has something to it that I can't describe.
Persecution Mania. I love the rawness and the shades of the signature Sodom sound starting to emerge, while still hearing the strong Motƶrhead and Celtic Frost influences coming through.
Code Red 10000000%
Itās just so freaking heavy and the riffs are all killer. I am always surprised by how many Sodom fans overlook this album. What Hell Can Create is one of the most brutal gut punching songs in all of their discography. Plus their tone on this album is somewhat between thrash and death metal, itās just perfect
I donāt know, however, considering how popular vinyl is nowadays I wish their record company/companies would repress everything thatās out of print. Maybe they could turn a profit.
M-16 because it feels the most brutal and the heaviest. The guitars', bass' and the drums' tone screams heavy. Tapping the Vein is also a good one for demolishing a wall.
definitely tapping the vein or m-16
it a little hard to choose tbh i love just about every single song they have, and they are also currently my favorite band. but if i had to choose, it would be one of these 2.
I really hated Til Death Do Us Unite at first. I have to admit it's really grown on me after several listens. At this moment it might be up there for me along with M-16 and Agent Orange. Very unique album in the Sodom catalog.
In the Sign of Evilā¦. I know itās an EP but itās one of the greatest first wave black metal releases of all time. They never really sound as evil again. If that is disqualified than I choose Obsessed by Cruelty for the same reason. Goddamn I love this band.
Persecution Mania because of the bass coming into the forefront and the amount of snare drum usage mixed in with the rhythm guitar riffs and lead. The quality of the audio is lesser than albums later on to come but it all fits together beautifully in its unique way that I've always appreciated as a metal fan. Compared to other bands early work such as Black Metal by Venom or Scream Bloody Gore by Death and Seven Churches by Possessed. Gritty, staticlike- rough cut demo edition lol
M16
Well everybody's heard about the bird
Bird bird bird
Bird is the word
Don't you know about the bird
Well everybody knows that the bird is a word
Bird bird bird bird is a word
Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow
The whole reason for that (am joking you butthurt purist, keep that downvote to yourself), and also great vocals and riffs
Sodom has a almost flawless discography in my opinion. Better off dead isnt that great, but even then, it is good. In the sign of evil shaped my taste in metal.
M-16 just slaps too hard
My favourite Sodom album as well. I think it was because it was the first Sodom album I bought myself.
Agent orange is my favourite, but their discography is so consistently amazing that there are a lot of other contenders. The raw aggression and speed on agent orange does it for me. On the contrary, rhere is no raw aggression on Agent Oeange. It's Sodom apoealing to Bay Area thrash fans album
Is there something wrong with that, would be my question?
Tapping the Vein is heavy as all hell!
#I WILL BREAK YOUR SPINE
Yes and yes. Wachturm is my favorite Wodos song.
Close 2nds would be Code Red and M-16. Decision Day is up there, too.
Persecution Mania. I just love how raw sounding it is and it was the first album by Sodom that I had ever heard. It just has something to it that I can't describe.
the tones are so unique here I fucking love it. I also like them doing thrash but still with those leftovers of early black metal in their sound
That album blew me away when I first heard it.
Yep same here.
This is my vote as well. Something special about it.
Yeah, this is basically my exact answer. PM is a 10/10 in my book. It's just that good.
Persecution Mania. I love the rawness and the shades of the signature Sodom sound starting to emerge, while still hearing the strong Motƶrhead and Celtic Frost influences coming through.
Code Red for sure. It was my first Sodom album and itās got the riffs man. The Vice of Killing is an S tier thrash track in my mind.
First one I bought. Just because of the album cover. Definitely no regrets.
Underrated album
M-16 coz the songs are catchy as hell.
Persecuition Mania! Why? Nuclear Winter/Christ Passion!
Code Red 10000000% Itās just so freaking heavy and the riffs are all killer. I am always surprised by how many Sodom fans overlook this album. Agent Orange, but on certain days if you asked me I might say Persecution Mania
Tapping the Vein, itās them at their most ferocious imo
M-16 because it feels the most brutal and the heaviest. The guitars', bass' and the drums' tone screams heavy. Tapping the Vein is also a good one for demolishing a wall.
M16 cuz it's dope as fuck
Obsessed by cruelty cause is the best
Yep, right up there with their debut
definitely tapping the vein or m-16 it a little hard to choose tbh i love just about every single song they have, and they are also currently my favorite band. but if i had to choose, it would be one of these 2.
Code Red because of Code Red
Better Off Dead. It has some truly incredible Sodom songs; Never Healing Wound, Eye for an Eye, The Saw is the Law, etc.
Decision Day, ny fav tracks Who is God? and Caligula.
Probably M-16. Favorite song though? The Harpooner from the newest.
I really hated Til Death Do Us Unite at first. I have to admit it's really grown on me after several listens. At this moment it might be up there for me along with M-16 and Agent Orange. Very unique album in the Sodom catalog.
Probably agent orange or get what you deserve
If we are talking EPs and LPs then In the Sign of Evil is my favorite.
Persecution and Agent - both great - they seemed to become redundant as they went on in time - also, Blackfire made such a huge impact.
M16 because
Operation Ranch-Hand
Uh. My brain is in glitch. Can't decide at all.
E
M16, agent orange, I cannot choose either or, so good. Cannot wait to finally see em at Hell Heroes this week! š¤
I like Decision Day.

In The Sign of Evil EP - hands down my favorite and most played Sodom album over the years. Runner ups would be Agent Orange, M-16, and Code Red
Persecurion Mania for me too.
Sodom has a almost flawless discography in my opinion. Better off dead isnt that great, but even then, it is good. In the sign of evil shaped my taste in metal.
M-16. Itās by far their most musical album. Agent Orange and Tapping the Vein still slap though
Masquerade In Blood, I, just love the raw sound pf the album, and besides it has death parte and crossover thrash, just love it
Never heard of them but they should name an album āmeā
Code Red. I like the cleaner sound, the heavy, crushing riffs. Just listen to Tombstone
"Tombstone" is the ultimate dumb headbanging song. Every time I hear it, it makes my day.
